Dog Pet Peeves  About Humans
-------------------------

     1.  When you run away in the middle of a perfectly good leg humping.

     2.  Blaming your farts on me...not funny...not funny at all.

     3.  Yelling at me for barking...
I'M A FRIGGIN' DOG YOU IDIOT!!

     4.  How you naively believe that the stupid cat isn't all over
everything while you're gone.
(Have you noticed that your toothbrush tastes a little like cat butt?)

     5.  Taking me for a walk, then not letting me check stuff out.
Exactly who's walk is this anyway?

     6.  Any trick that involves balancing food on my nose...stop it.

     7. Yelling at me for rubbing my ass on your carpet.
     Why'd you buy carpet?

     8.  Getting upset when I sniff the crotches of your guests.
Sorry but I haven't quite mastered that handshake thing yet...idiot.

     9.  How you act disgusted when I lick myself.
Look, we both know the truth, you're just jealous.

     10.  Dog sweaters.
Have you noticed the fur?  Imbecile.

     11.  Any haircut that involves bows or ribbons.
Now you know why we chew your shit up when you're not home.

     12.  When you pick up the crap piles in the yard.
Do you realize how far behind schedule that puts me?

     13.  Taking me to the vet for "the big snip", then acting surprised
when I freak out everytime we go back.

     14.  The sleight of hand, fake fetch throw.
You fooled a dog!  What a proud moment for the top of the food chain,
you nitwit.

     15.  Invisible fences.
Why do you insist on screwing with us?  To my knowledge, dogdom hasn't
yet solved the visible fence problem!!

Whoops!
We're sorry, but the promotion you were looking for is not available at this time.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Same thing I've had most of the morning. IT sheesh!
How was the long weekend, Wolfman Jack?
Not bad at all. Wife got to play with her wolves, kids got to enjoy the hotel pool and hot tub (though honestly, I enjoyed the hot tub more than anyone) and a museum on Sunday. All in all, pretty good trip. And now only 10 days until CF!
Sounds like a bad deal to me, wife got to play with her wolves instead of your wolf.
Fear not, my lone wolf was not neglected on the trip.
Yeah, you already said how much you enjoyed the hot tub.
Didn't enjoy it THAT much. Though, the 2 ladies in bikinis that showed up yesterday morning when we were in there didn't hurt.

Morning men. Nice to have a Monday jam.
Morning Bean, did you get my PM yesterday?
I did.  Keep me informed, we'll try to work out the airport transfer arrangements.
No hail up your way I guess.    We got smashed!
Just a 30 min rain up by us.  But I saw that deep purple blob down your way on the radar and thought uh-oh.
Uh Oh was right my house was literally dead center of tha t deep purple blob.

That was it. Haha. They were actually sitting next to us at breakfast. The one had a short dress on, a killer looking body. I thought, damn, where was she in the pool last night? After breakfast, we went back to the pool for another swim before checking out. Half hour or so after we got there, in they walk. Her body did not disappoint.

Unfortunately, that was the end of the story. They came into the hot tub when the wife and I were in there, I got a good look as they walked past us, but then they stayed in there the rest of the time we were, so I never got to ogle them as they got up or anything. Much to my dismay.

Funny you should mention kayaks.  The commies are organizing kayak troops up here in Puget Sound today.  Teaching them how to put on a protest on the water against oil drilling in the Arctic.  So...the commies have a navy now.  Fortunately, they don't have guns.

Funny you should mention kayaks.  The commies are organizing kayak troops up here in Puget Sound today.  Teaching them how to put on a protest on the water against oil drilling in the Arctic.  So...the commies have a navy now.  Fortunately, they don't have guns.
Those fools need to go live off the grid in tents with none of the modern conveniences made possible by man's use of natural resources.  Hypocrites.
Yeah, it was pretty funny listening to the interview with one of the organizers, talking about how they recommend high-tech, wicking, and quick-dry clothing to protect from the cold-waters of Puget Sound.  All that high-tech clothing is made with petroleum.  We won't even mention the high tech materials their kayaks are made of.

If you let it make you mad, they win.  Just have to smile and nod a lot.

Like we all can't type with one hand.
Tricky on a smartphone.

Morning, muchachos.
Well thanks a bunch Raz, I got your thunderstorm Saturday and it hailed marble to golf ball size ice for 20 minutes with a 60 mph wind and tore the shit out of everything.
Bitch, bitch, bitch. You know what I had to deal with all weekend? Sunny and mid-60s. The warden ran my ass ragged, when I wasn't working the second job. And you think you've got it rough?

Morning, Tex.

when they replace TP with leaves, then I might listen to them... nah probably not.
Have to be careful to use the right leaves when you're in the wilderness. The wrong ones will make you wish for death.

put a post it note on your forehead, before going to bed at night.
then when you look in the mirror to shave in the morning, it will remind
you to make & pack a lunch.  The learning to write backwards, so the note
makes sense in the mirror is the hard part!

That was Saturday afternoon's burger.  I had a gift card to Hop Jack's, so took the warden there.  Had the Black & Blue.  Loved it.  Went great with a local IPA. I imagine the Bleu Cheese would be great on steak.  Have to try that.

But it's not for everyone.  Has a pretty strong bite to it.

Morning flip.  Seems as though LTG left us to fill in the rest of the story on our own.  Hence the preoccupation.
Unfortunately, that was the end of the story. They came into the hot tub when the wife and I were in there, I got a good look as they walked past us, but then they stayed in there the rest of the time we were, so I never got to ogle them as they got up or anything. Much to my dismay.
No bubbles bouncing the floats or anything?  Water level too high?

Maybe Tebow can help Johnny find Jesus. He hasn't found him at the bottom of a tequila bottle just yet.
It ain't finding Jesus that's the problem.  It's finding the open receivers. And elbow...I mean, Tebow, hasn't shown he knows how to do that.

Never was much of a fan of blue cheese..... obviously missing out on a lot.
Gotta make sure you get the fresh stuff, not what generally passes for Bleu Cheese in salad dressing.

But it's not for everyone.  Has a pretty strong bite to it.
Clemson makes their own bleu cheese that people rave about, just not me.
Had it and very good!  They make some damn good ice cream too!
Yea, but they've all fancy and made the service like a Coldstone rather than simple scoop and go.  Then again, I'm old fashioned, and enjoyed getting it from the Ag building, no frills.
I was at the Naval Academy when they had a dairy.  absolute freshest Ice Cream & cheese you could want.  Shame I didn't stay longer than a week.  (American Legion Boys State)

That'd be epic, wouldn't it? Do plan on having burgers on the grill tonight, as we do usually a couple of times a week.
trying a CB edit, let's see if this works - bought a nice chunk of Blue cheese, next time I make either
steak or burgers, gonna have it Black & Blue
The word is modify.

Yes, but you see, fresh and cheese aren't always applicable.  People seem to go for the old ratty, forgotten moldy foot smelling types...

if your meal smelled like dog food that is, too rainy today to venture out for lunch.
they are renovating the building, and they are moving us to another floor this week.

Afternoon, gents.  As a Redskins fan, I had mixed feelings when I read about our division foe possibly signing Tim Tebow.  Did you guys ever watch multiple college games which he won with his late game heroics?  One negative thing about him, someone might say is that he's inconsistent/disorganized, BUT, dang, when it came down to the wire, he was a great leader of his troops and would somehow pull a win out of who knows where.  So, he was pretty exciting to watch.  From what I've read (very little), he's been working out seriously for a good while with a quarterbacks coach and has improved his game a lot ... we will see ... If I were in a position to offer advice, it would be this:  "Let the guy play his game.  Use him in a way that accentuates his strengths and minimizes his weakenesses, instead of trying to force him into a system that doesn't use his natural and developed abilities ... in a word don't force a round peg into a square hole."  I've seen the Redskins do that so many times, it makes me sick.  They took a top beast of a college linebacker like LaVar Arrington (Penn State), who excelled in a certain style of play, tried to force him into a system that did not make use of his strengths and he ended up being a non-factor.  Frigging coaches who think they are geniuses ... I don't want to TT to excel against Washington, but as a sports fan, I enjoy watching great players exercising their talents, making great plays.  I saw some exciting football in Tebow's successful college career.  I'd just like to see him get a chance to use those talents to the max and see what happens.  Rant ended ...  Had a strong Joya de Nicaragua 1970 Antano with coffee on a deck yesterday, later followed that with a CLE Cuarenta 11/18 sipping  bourbon until the winds started whipping up and rain drops were felt.

Sam, I've gotten a bundle, way back.  Did not buy another one ... that I remember ... not terrible, I think there are better smokes in the category you mentioned.  Not to repeat, but I do like the Espinosa E.O. #21, a really good summer smoke, creamy, gobs of smoke, but mild to medium, with flavor ... the "poor man's Montecristo Whiite" ...
I like the toro and double corona (churchill) the most, followed by the torpedo.  Best smoked at a normal pace, if you rush it, it can get bitter, but not at a relaxed pace.  I think they are being discontinued again, so good deals can be gotten ... they were on sale recently for about $10 off per bundle of 21.  I hand them out often and rarely get a complaint from a normal veteran cigar smoker.  Last guy, this weekend, had a two inch ash before he knocked it off. Good morning or knockaround smoke.  The Pinar del RIo sungrown torpedo (maybe the toro and churchill too, but my experience is with the torpedo) is a cigar, that I think smokes above it's price point ... I like the flavor, burn and draw.

Hey TR, I was trying to catch up on the banter and read the Tebow comments.  Since I had a few thoughts about the issue AND nowhere else to express them, I thought I'd uncork that bottle here.  Then, in a nod to the name of this forum, "cigarbanter", I thought I'd also throw out my most recent cigar experience (from yesterday afternoon).
Oh, and about the empty hot tub ... do you think the large hailstones could have displaced all of the water, one plop and a time?  I am sorry for the damage you suffered, but your posts had me take another look at my SUV, which is a black Honda Element.  The guy I bought it from said he had it for about a year to year and a half, but it came with NO folder of service/maintenance work ... NADA.  I bought it since it looked real good for a high mileage vehicle, clean inside and out, and it drove real nice.  I really needed something, was looking for this model, was looking for lower mileage, but he dropped the price some and I bought it.  Over time, some chips in the paint have shown up, which he obviously had touched up, and in certain light, from a certain angles I see this dimples in the roof and hood.  After reading your posts, I wonder if it had been a hail damaged vehicle and somehow made it to the DC area.  It's been a good vehicle, have only had to have a starter replaced and got some new tires after 2 1/2 years, this winter, but I do wonder about its past.  Sorry this is so long, hopefully it's comprehensible ... got to head to the P.O. and bank ... maybe have a Four Kicks later this afternoon before possible severe weather hits.

(what did he just say?)
He means "no", and disagrees with the concept of knockaround smokes.
You truly ARE a linguist!
And a cunning one.
You're a cunning linguist who loves to eat out?

Time to get something to eat then to the gate.  Later guys.
bye Dave...   Have the Chicago Beef sandwich, or a Chicago hot dog, run through the garden with the little peppers, and a poppy seed roll.   then again deep dish pizza is a native cuisine there... edit
Last time I was at either of the Chicago airports, there wasn't a decent place to eat within a mile.
I don't expect much from airport cuisine...except maybe SFO which has somenice spots .

Haven't been in about a dozen years, do recall a Wolfgang Puck's I think....
http://www.flychicago.com/ohare/en/atairport/map/default.aspx?iconType=restaurant (http://www.flychicago.com/ohare/en/atairport/map/default.aspx?iconType=restaurant) according to this link
there are 17 places for Starbuck's coffee alone.
As abmatter of fact, did eat at Wolfgang Pucks although I like the one at LAX better.  And yrss, ton of Starbucks and other coffer places as well. Not many bars however.
