What's shakin', banterland?
How was the megameeting?

It went much better than I'd thought. It turns out I just had to modify a few slides and then listen to someone else present them. Until yesterday I thought I was gonna be on the hot seat.

It's been raining like crazy since yesterday and I know it could be much worse if the temperatures dropped just a degree or two. Hoping ClemsonDave and family get a reprieve during the funeral.

My chances for that are already out the window, thanks to the two younger kids having a row over a sweater this morning before they left. Sheesh!

Lol, it does seem like all those people were going for a "misery loves company" type scenario.

Hmmm. I'll have to think about that one and get back to you. Although there are enough cigar of the year lists out there to give you a starting point.

Two cigars...

The first, I've smoked and I enjoyed it:
AJ's New World Dorado

The second, haven't tried it yet but it's been on my radar and now it's #9 on Aficionado's 2022 list:
Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real Nicaragua.

Don't get me started. The Explorer has been in the shop since Wednesday. Bad rear wheel bearings, one completely disintegrated. So, new bearings, brakes, and emergency brake cable...then yesterday they discovered the rear end was badly rusted. So it's gonna be a coupla grand plus.

Still cheaper than a new vehicle.

Took longer than I expected because I didn't clean the leads properly the first time, but done in about 20 minutes. All from the comfort of the garage.

No. I got it at Walmart and they would've installed it for free, but when I was there yesterday, they were wrapping up in the auto shop, so they couldn't do it.

But I can take my old battery back there and get a $12 refund. So I guess there's that.
