Morning Dean.  Got any activities planned today?
there's a Super Bowl party here that I'm not taking part in. got volunteered to make coffee, chair the 2 o'clock noon meeting, and clean up at St Benedict's, then I'm heading to a buddies house for ribs and the game. everything is subject to change without notice though.

oops:
With another snowstorm expected to bring up to a foot of snow in New England, a New Hampshire town might be without snow plows.

A fire destroyed a fleet of plows in the small town of Henniker. The fire started at the Henniker Highway Department Friday night after the plows finished clearing the streets.

The state fire marshal’s office said five dump trucks, one road grader and several other vehicles used to plow that were stored in the town garage were destroy. Damages could exceed $1 million.

Investigators say the fire started in the engine in one of the trucks and quickly spread.

"This puts the town in a bad spot," Henniker Fire Chief Steve Burritt told the Concord Monitor. "The town has a serious problem for snow removal. Not that there isn't a solution, but it's going to be a challenge."

The garage did have a full fire alarm system, but the fire department was unable to remove the vehicles because of the heavy smoke and flames, State Fire Marshal J. William Degnan said. The building was not equipped with a sprinkler system.

The only remaining heavy equipment were two pickup trucks and a front-end loader, which were parked outside and spared from the blaze. No injuries were reported.

The forecast was calling for 8 to 12 inches of snow on Monday, following the recent blizzard that buried parts of New England under several feet of snow.

Better fill your gas tanks Shell workers at the largest gulf coast gasoline refineries began striking and price will skyrocket quickly.

The labor contracts over 64 percent of the nation’s refining capacity, according to the union.

Got patio cleaned off for smoking, drinking and pre-game tv.  Waiting on warden (as usual) to walk dogs but sure nice sitting out in shorts(go ahead comedians make fun of that) and a t-shirt perfectly comfortable.  Would luv to watch the game outside but likely cooling down quickly by that time.  Wind is supposed to switch from the North after 3 this afternoon.

Seattle is still a 1 point favorite, don't really care much who wins as I don't like either one but hope the game is that close so it will at least be good to watch.

As was forecast the wind has switched over straight out of the north @ 15-20 and cooling down.  Just snuffed the Uncut so guess I will move back inside.  Bout time for some Super Bowl snacks.
Better watch your smokes, garbage men don't seem to like the Uncut.  Our taste preferences can't be trusted it seems.

So far I'm still alive.. :)  I did receive my Bare Knuckles the other day.  I bought them in a jam, and then received an e-mail saying they didn't have them and they were not supposed to have been on the jam. I see they are still on backorder so they must have broke open a box to fill my order.

Evening gents. Hope everyone is doing well. Enjoying a very fine, smooth Perdomo Habano Connecticut robusto. CT is in New England, right? Not that it indicates my preference for either team. I'm kind of torn, want to support my BOTL Fred/Bob, but I have family & friends in both regions. Love red, white and blue in a Patriotic way, but blue/green is my favorite color combination. Paul Revere & the Revolutionaries are near & dear to my heart, but I also am fascinated by raptor birds. Like personnel on both teams, but Russell Wilson grew up in Richmond, VA & was a HS standout in football and beisbol, a fellow Virginian. So, I guess I'm firmly on the fence (ouch). Hope it's a great game. Oskar Blues "Old Chubb" Scottish Ale going well with the Perdomo.

TR, how is the Uncut?  Had some in my cart 10/$29.99 but didn't pull the trigger quick enough & they were rubbed out.  That Shiner Holiday sounds delicious ... not usually into "flavored" beers, but I love pecans.

Only a few flavored beers I like and they are brewed with flavor not just added flavorings. Shiner has an anniversary beer out called 106 with chocolate flavoring added and it is awful I think. This Shiner was a Christmas seasonal pecan & peach, pretty good but not great.  But if you like pecan then try Lazy Magnolia Brewery Southern Pecan, it is a wonderful beer, perhaps my #1.  Non seasonal and available year round.  Uncut is a very good $3 cigar to me, I bought them on a 10/$30 special.

During the fight with my wife this week, she just randomly adds to the fight by saying, "I'm never going to wear those costumes again...!"  After thinking about it the next day I said, "get those costumes, and be sure to get those shoes that go along with them, too...!" She said, "why..?"  I said, "well if your never going to wear them again, then I'm going to set them on fire in the backyard...!"  Man, did she get upset.. saying, "your CRAZY if you think your going to destroy my costumes...!"  So I said, "well, your never going to wear them again..!"  She said, "I didn't mean it, I'm still going to wear them..!"  Silly women...!   :o

LMFAO.  I was trying to do something in the attic today and all the Christmas decoration shit was in my way then I accidentally knocked a pile of it over and things went about the same way as your costume story.

HA!

Half time show - three words - too much budget.

Hiya, Sly!  Got a V going in honor of FredBob, even though it's looking bad for his Pats right now.  Blizzard is killing us here!  Got like 12-14 inches on the ground and the wind she is a-howling!  Cleared everything out just before the Bowl, and now it's all drifted back in.

Good, BD.  enjoying the game in peace & quiet along with a Camacho Criollo (my first, gifted by someone with the same name, whose daughter bought him a box) and some Sam Adams beer.  Cigar is good but not as good as the Perdomo Habano CT I had in the first half, which was superb.

To Fred ... Huzzah.  If there's anything we know, you don't count Brady out until the clock runs out, though Wilson showed a great comeback ability against GB.

I thought Linus was snooping around your backyard (and driveway too). Those kind of storms are kind of exciting as long as you don't lose power or run out of beer.

Yup!  That was a good day for me.  Hate the Pukers.  I had the Camacho Criollo new band yesterday and found it to be a good cigar.  I liked the apricot sweetness.  Not box worthy imo, but I would put a fiver in the humi.

The hops in the SA must be blocking the apricot.  I agree, good cigar, but I don't see buying any.  On the other hand I have enjoyed the blue label Ecuador & have gotten additional singles & 5 packs.  The best for me was the old label 10th Anniversary Corojo.

10th is/was a fine cigar.  I had the Ditka branded.  Nothing special, but it was a good cigar for the 2 hour drive I made while smoking it.  Definitely not worth the price, tho.

If ever there was a definition of waffling....
