It's Tuesday again! In between insults we'll occasionally discuss cigars.  Join in and perhaps learn something along the way. Warning: don't proceed if you have thin skin but don't be afraid to post either... And welcome aboard!

Pain pills that smell like alcohol  :o

Tiger Woods attributed an "unexpected reaction" to prescription medicine for his arrest on a DUI charge that landed him in a Florida jail Monday for nearly four hours.

"I understand the severity of what I did and I take full responsibility for my actions," Woods said in a statement Monday evening. "I want the public to know that alcohol was not involved. What happened was an unexpected reaction to prescribed medications. I didn't realize the mix of medications had affected me so strongly."

Today is Tuesday, May 30, the 150th day of 2017. There are 215 days left in the year.

Today's Highlight in History:

On May 30, 1922, the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. was dedicated in a ceremony attended by President Warren G. Harding, Chief Justice William Howard Taft and Robert Todd Lincoln.

On this date:

In 1431, Joan of Arc, condemned as a heretic, was burned at the stake in Rouen (roo-AHN'), France.

In 1536, England's King Henry VIII married his third wife, Jane Seymour, 11 days after the king's second wife, Anne Boleyn, was beheaded for treason and adultery.

In 1883, 12 people were trampled to death in a stampede sparked by a rumor that the recently opened Brooklyn Bridge was in danger of collapsing.

In 1911, the first Indy 500 took place at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway; the winner was Ray Harroun, who drove a Marmon Wasp for more than 6 1/2 hours at an average speed of 74.6 mph and collected a prize of $10,000.

In 1937, ten people were killed when police fired on steelworkers demonstrating near the Republic Steel plant in South Chicago.

In 1943, during World War II, American troops secured the Aleutian island of Attu from Japanese forces.

In 1958, unidentified American service members killed in World War II and the Korean War were interred in the Tomb of the Unknowns at Arlington National Cemetery.

In 1966, NASA launched Surveyor 1, a probe that made a soft landing on the moon three days later. The Beatles single "Paperback Writer" was released in the United States by Capitol Records.

In 1971, the American space probe Mariner 9 blasted off from Cape Kennedy on a journey to Mars.

In 1982, Spain became NATO's 16th member.

In 1997, Jesse K. Timmendequas (tih-MEHN'-deh-kwahs) was convicted in Trenton, New Jersey, of raping and strangling a seven-year-old neighbor, Megan Kanka, whose 1994 murder inspired "Megan's Law," requiring that communities be notified when sex offenders move in. (Timmendequas received a sentence of death that was later commuted to life in prison after New Jersey abolished capital punishment.)

In 2002, a solemn, wordless ceremony marked the end of the agonizing cleanup at ground zero in New York, 8˝ months after 9/11.

Ten years ago: The Taliban claimed responsibility for shooting down a Chinook helicopter over southern Afghanistan, killing five U.S. soldiers, a Canadian and a Briton. Abdul Rahman Maadha al-Amry, a Saudi being held at the Guantanamo Bay prison since 2002, was found dead, an apparent suicide.

Five years ago: A gunman in Seattle fatally shot four people inside a cafe and a fifth victim in a carjacking before killing himself. The National September 11 Memorial and Museum marked the 10th anniversary of the end of cleanup operations at the site with a tribute to recovery workers and first responders. Kicking off her first trip abroad in nearly a quarter-century, Myanmar opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi (ahng sahn soo chee) offered encouragement to impoverished migrants in neighboring Thailand.

One year ago: President Barack Obama challenged Americans on Memorial Day to fill the silence from those who died serving their country with love and support for families of the fallen, "not just with words but with our actions."

I can't believe this but they been hounding us to fill out an employee  survey (when they dog the chit out of us to fill them out then I fill them out so as not to please the assholes) and this is actually one of the questions but the answers are even more crazy!  I started to check them all except the last one figuring I would get a promotion but I just left it and all the other demographic questions blank.

96. Do you consider yourself to be one or more of the following? (mark as many as apply).

Heterosexual or Straight
Gay or Lesbian
Bisexual
Transgender
I prefer not to say

La Traviata Flash Sale at Holts, $69.95 for a box of 30 Luminoso's, 4.5 x 50
And it's for the maddie, which is better than the original, IMFO. Good deal.
Nice, Hello boys, glad to be back at work,  last four days, with the warden after
hip replacement, have been fun, my 19 year old borrowed the car on Sunday afternoon, for
a slumber party, at her friends house, she came home last evening.  guess who played orderly with
a grouchy patient for over 30 hours...
Did you dress up in a cute little nurses outfit?
nope, and Monday I didn't even shave.... Yesterday was jeans and a t-shirt.
I had a few hours break on Sunday morning, before Gabby borrowed the car, had to be American
Legion chaplain, for wreath laying ceremony in Saddle Brook. Did finally put the banister back in
the basement on Monday morning.  she will be best served by the walk in shower, in the renovated
bathroom, in the basement.  Barely enough room to get into the 2nd floor bathroom shower,
plus she would have to raise the bad leg too far.

The first problem with this question is it's #96.  Any survey over 20 questions is too long.

Laws are pretty universal on that one -  you are driving if behind the wheel, clear and simple as that.

Boy said Drunk Driving is a lot easier to get out of than drug driving and since he was mouthing off that his head was all fuct up on a drug mixtue then probably going to be pretty tough to get anything better than a moderate plea bargain but you never know what might happen with famous people.

Injections went well. Between the doctor, administering nurse, and financial assistant, there is no gap in Medicare for my meds at $8,000 a visit so long as I have them administered at the office, something to do with Medicare Part B.
Even got my oil changed on the way home, took a nap in the sun for a few hours. Ready to fix a salad for dinner before I meet up with a buddy at 5. I believe the lady is spending the night so I will need my rest.

I have read through the CIMZIA literature, visited their website, and spoke with a rep from the company that calls and monitors my progress. biggest side effect is a rare type of cancer called hepatosplenis T-cell lymphoma, which results in death.

True, a significant one.  There are often the potential for various autoimmune responses with this type of treatment that would be good to respond to if you feel some changes.  For most folks the level of relief if far greater than the infrequent issues possible.

True, a significant one.  There are often the potential for various autoimmune responses with this type of treatment that would be good to respond to if you feel some changes.  For most folks the level of relief if far greater than the infrequent issues possible.
Exactly how I'm looking at it.
Off to meet a buddy.

Flight attendant rack report not worth filing.  Ditto yoga pants report.
you have our sympathies....
Tony didn't bother reporting in at all.
Hoping the walk back will be more eventful.
97° here. Very short shorts and tank tops no matter where you look, of course, some should not leave home until they lose about 150-200 pounds.

You see Dean, Tony and Bean "filter" their rack reports before sharing...or choosing not to share.

I'd much rather smoke a Padrón. I might give up cigars all together if the Monte Platinum were my only choice.
