Thanks, Tony.
Hi Rick.  Please post a review of the REO.  The originals were made by DPG for Rocky, Espinosa & Ortega. OTT they were too spicy for my palate at the time.
Gave most of them away. But rediscovered them a year or so later at the bottom of the
humidor where they had been marinating. What a difference! They were so tasty & good (in the robusto & Chairman). So I am curious to see how good they are.  I'm tempted to
break the spending hiatus.
P.S. Could use your help ... for so long this Spring, it was cool & rainy, so no need for A/C, but for the past 2 weeks it's gotten well into the eighties & the A/C doesn't seem to be working. (unit is in condo ... showing 78F & 68%H! I've turned switches on & off including breakers ... unit is less than 3 years old).  Condo is on first floor, so keeping windows open at night is not an option ... all someone would have to do us kick in screen & walk right into living room or BR.  I'm in the middle of moving (a lot of lifting & carrying by myself out into the heat up stairs to parking lot, so it would be nice to have a place inside to cool off.  Any thoughts, suggestions?  No sticker on unit to identify the installer.  Landlady comes back from overseas on Tuesday, so not easy to speak to. Sorry for the extended post. Didn't intend to get into this.

Hi Sly yes the REO is made by just Ortega and I think the blend components are different. I do remember the old ones.

As for the AC there are many things that can be wrong or bad but surprisingly most of the time it is a control issue. A bad thermostat, check batteries. See that the indoor fan comes on if so see if the outdoor fan is on. Wish I could help further. Try the obvious stuff 1st. Good luck.

Today is Thursday, June 2, the 154th day of 2016. There are 212 days left in the year.

Today's Highlight in History:

On June 2, 1941, baseball's "Iron Horse," Lou Gehrig, died in New York of a degenerative disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis; he was 37.

On this date:

In 1863, during the Civil War, Union Maj. Gen. William T. Sherman wrote a letter to his wife, Ellen, in which he commented, "Vox populi, vox humbug" (The voice of the people is the voice of humbug).

In 1886, President Grover Cleveland, 49, married Frances Folsom, 21, in the Blue Room of the White House. (To date, Cleveland is the only president to marry in the executive mansion.)

In 1897, Mark Twain, 61, was quoted by the New York Journal as saying from London that "the report of my death was an exaggeration."

In 1924, Congress passed, and President Calvin Coolidge signed, a measure guaranteeing full American citizenship for all Native Americans born within U.S. territorial limits.

In 1946, Italy held a referendum which resulted in the Italian monarchy being abolished in favor of a republic.

In 1953, the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II took place in London's Westminster Abbey, 16 months after the death of her father, King George VI.

In 1966, U.S. space probe Surveyor 1 landed on the moon and began transmitting detailed photographs of the lunar surface.

In 1976, Arizona Republic investigative reporter Don Bolles was mortally injured by a bomb planted underneath his car; he died 11 days later. (Prosecutors believed Bolles was targeted because he had written stories that upset a liquor wholesaler; three men were convicted of the killing.)

In 1981, the Japanese video arcade game "Donkey Kong" was released by Nintendo.

In 1983, half of the 46 people aboard an Air Canada DC-9 were killed after fire broke out on board, forcing the jetliner to make an emergency landing at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.

In 1986, for the first time, the public could watch the proceedings of the U.S. Senate on television as a six-week experiment began.

In 1997, Timothy McVeigh was convicted of murder and conspiracy in the 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City. (McVeigh was executed in June 2001.)

Ten years ago: The United Nations General Assembly concluded a conference on AIDS by promising to set "ambitious national targets," but falling short of setting exact financial goals for the fight against the disease. Canadian authorities announced they had foiled a homegrown terrorist attack to set off bombs outside Toronto's Stock Exchange, a building housing Canada's spy agency and a military base. Grateful Dead keyboardist Vince Welnick died in Sonoma County, California, at age 55.

Five years ago: Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney announced his bid for the Republican presidential nomination during an appearance in New Hampshire. A 73-year-old man opened fire in the Yuma, Arizona, area, killing five people and wounding one other before fatally shooting himself. A judge in Placerville, California, sentenced serial sex offender Phillip Garrido to life in prison for kidnapping and raping Jaycee Dugard; Garrido's wife, Nancy, received a decades-long sentence. Eighth-grader Sukanya Roy of South Abington Township, Pennsylvania, won the 84th Scripps National Spelling Bee.

One year ago: President Barack Obama signed the USA Freedom Act, extending three expiring surveillance provisions of the 9/11-era USA Patriot Act. FIFA President Sepp Blatter announced his resignation as head of soccer's governing body just four days after being re-elected to the post amid a widening corruption scandal.

This will get your ass caught every time!

Spring dad charged with DWI after child falls out of moving car

A Spring man is accused of driving while intoxicated while his son fell out of a vehicle, Montgomery County officials said.

On Tuesday, Montgomery County Precinct 3 deputy constables were sent to the 29900 block of Aldine Westfield after a bystander saw a small child fall from the front passenger seat of a moving car.

The driver got out, put the child back in the seat, then drove away with the door still open, authorities said.

Deputies later found the car and the driver, identified as Matthew Killian. The man's two children also were in the car, officials said.

The child who fell from the car was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Woodlands and was later transferred to the Texas Medical Center. The other child in the car wasn't hurt, authorities said.

Killian was taken into custody. Deputies filed charges against him for injury to a child, driving while intoxicated and endangering a child. He has three prior DWI convictions, officials said.

I can take you to Mama Sally's for a chopped sirloin smothered in mushroom gravy, or the Pub for a homemade pizza, or Shrimps Landing for saefood, Follow The Dream Highway to the end of the road to the Gulf. very little to see really in Inglis/Yankeetown. nice and quiet and remote.
I will be flying to Tampa but will have a car.  The weekend of October 8.
I have it in my calendar. is this a day visit or overnight?
Just a day visit, probably be on Friday the 7th.  I am going to Tampa for the weekend to look at some boats, probably get to Tampa on the afternoon of the 6th then drive up to see you on the morning of the 7th have a couple of cigars and lunch then return to Tampa.

Whothehellis the one that ended the relationship?
Relationship is a broadly defined concept in Dawgtown, Rick.  Don't try to figure it out, you will hurt your brain.
there's the redhead on the water, the gimpy beauty queen, and 300# Sandy wants a piece of me, a young blonde with breasts so big you have shade in the summer, and the landlady that got me evicted called me the other day. damn damn.

good morning guys. great day at the Plantation yesterday. couldn't get off the tee box and couldn't putt but had a great time. the lady was waiting for me when I got home ( the one that ended the relationship ), and said the house was done, 98%, she moves in next week. I looked it over, helped water her plants, and then we christened her new walk in shower.
AF shaggy foot something or other and coffee going.
68° heading for the mid 90's again. I love it here.
Morning Dean, I might be down your way for a cigar in October but I don't care to christen the shower with you.
not to worry.

Fuk'n O'gunner EPA Commie Bastards!

This chit destroys most engines, especially small and older engines along with outboard motors.

The EPA has just announced its plans to further increase the country’s ethanol mandates, surpassing the current record high levels finalized less than one year ago. By next year, the EPA is requiring the American public to consume 700 million more gallons of renewable fuel, whether they want to or not.

•Are you afraid of E15 and other higher blends of ethanol destroying marine engines? Too bad, the EPA wants to increase the supply of these fuels to approximately one billion gallons.
•Do you want to continue to be able to purchase ethanol free gasoline? Too bad, the EPA plans to decimate E0 supply by 5.1 billion gallons to just 200 million gallons.

County launches new study to examine causes of 2015 floods.  About seven months after the devastating floods that killed three people, Travis County is working with a company to study the flooding.
they will determine it is a sudden & prolonged influx of water, falling from
the sky, which caused the storm drains to not whisk the water away. Drains that were clogged by hundreds of
plastic water bottles, since nobody drinks the stuff from the tap anymore.....

Morning Mr. Mayor.  Good to see you up and about after all the anniversary festivities last night.
Meant to celebrate with a "new to me" beer but never got around to it. How are the Mexicans treating you?
Beer is cold, tequila is smooth and eye candy is outstanding.  All good!
Almost sounds like a vacation.
For about three hours each evening it is.
3 hours each evening, chit by the end of the week you may not have any chrome left on your trailer ball!
It's a short week so I'll probably survive.  Getting picked up at four tomorrow for a 6:00 AM flight to the Lone Star State.

A drainage equation is an equation describing the relation between depth and spacing of parallel subsurface drains, depth of the watertable, depth and hydraulic conductivity of the soils. It is used in drainage design.

Parameters in Hooghoudt's drainage equation
A well known steady-state drainage equation is the Hooghoudt drain spacing equation. Its original publication is in Dutch. The equation was introduced in the USA by van Schilfgaarde.

Hooghoudt's equation can be written as:

Q L2 = 8 Kb d (Di - Dd) (Dd - Dw) + 4 Ka (Dd - Dw)2
where:

Q = steady state drainage discharge rate (m/day)
Ka = hydraulic conductivity of the soil above drain level (m/day)
Kb = hydraulic conductivity of the soil below drain level (m/day)
Di = depth of the impermeable layer below drain level (m)
Dd = depth of the drains (m)
Dw = steady state depth of the watertable midway between the drains (m)
L = spacing between the drains (m)
d = equivalent depth, a function of L, (Di-Dd), and r
r = drain radius (m)
Steady (equilibrium) state condition
In steady state, the level of the water table remains constant and the discharge rate (Q) equals the rate of groundwater recharge (R), i.e. the amount of water entering the groundwater through the watertable per unit of time. By considering a long-term (e.g. seasonal) average depth of the water table (Dw) in combination with the long-term average recharge rate (R), the net storage of water in that period of time is negligibly small and the steady state condition is satisfied: one obtains a dynamic equilibrium.

Derivation of the equation
For the derivation of the equation Hooghoudt used the law of Darcy, the summation of circular potential functions and, for the determination of the influence of the impermeable layer, de method of mirror images and superposition.
Hooghoudt published tables for the determination of the equivalent depth (d), because the function (F) in d = F (L,Di-Dd,r) consists of long series of terms.

Crop yield and seasonal average depth of the water table
Determining:

the discharge rate (Q) from the recharge rate (R) in a water balance as detailed in the article: hydrology (agriculture)
the permissible long term average depth of the water table (Dw) on the basis of agricultural drainage criteria
the soil's hydraulic conductivity (Ka and Kb) by measurements
the depth of the bottom of the aquifer (Di)
the design drain spacing (L) can be found from the equation in dependence of the drain depth (Dd) and drain radius (r).

Drainage criteria
One would not want the water table to be too shallow to avoid crop yield depression nor too deep to avoid drought conditions. This is a subject of drainage research. The figure shows that a seasonal average depth of the water table shallower than 70 cm causes a yield depression [4]
The figure was made with the SegReg program for segmented regression.

Good offer on 601 LaBomba Napalms behind Door #2 at the Sister.  10/$32.50
Morning, Dave. Picked up a box of AB American Sungrown coronas at the place yesterday with the 20% off and $1 shipping.
What was your final cost?
$53.76. It was no 601 Green deal, but I'll take it. ;)
Haha, just so happens they're mashing today for $59.98/box of coronas
$49.78 free ship but you did ok, rook
I don't even check famous anymore, honestly, so I'm not concerned. Too much variation in their prices to follow them.
It's only $4, bro!
If not catsrule eligible or some other good coupon deal then Famous prices are an absolute joke now days.

Dean better gather up his coconuts!

HOUSTON (KTRK) --
The National Hurricane Center says there's a 30% chance a tropical depression or storm could form in the southern Gulf of Mexico after the weekend.

Many computer models spin up an area of low pressure and send it toward Florida. If something does develop, it would likely stay away from Texas because of a front entering the Gulf, which acts as a shield from tropical activity.

Whether or not anything develops, the deep tropical moisture around the disturbance could bring flooding rains to portions of the southeast US next week.

Whether or not anything develops, the deep tropical moisture around the disturbance could bring flooding rains to portions of the southeast US next week.
So in other words, the 12 or so inches of rain you've had over the last week is going to hold a little tropical depression that would have brought you 4" or so of rain.  Good deal!

As for the AC there are many things that can be wrong or bad but surprisingly most of the time it is a control issue. A bad thermostat, check batteries. See that the indoor fan comes on if so see if the outdoor fan is on. Wish I could help further. Try the obvious stuff 1st. Good luck.

Just an afternoon FYI:

Taming that sweet tooth and losing the pooch can help your guy’s penis look bigger. There are some penises that might appear smaller than they actually are because that beer belly is hiding their true size; guys can lose the appearance of a full inch for every additional 35 pounds they’re carrying.

Another one and Pilot not so lucky this time.

SMYRNA — U.S. Navy officials have confirmed the pilot of a Blue Angels jet was killed in a crash about 3 p.m. today.

The pilot has not been publicly identified pending notification of next-of-kin, according to a news release from the Naval Air Forces.

The pilot of the F/A-18 jet was taking off to start a practice flight when the crash occurred, according to the Naval Air Forces. The crash was about two miles from the runway.
The other five Blue Angels aircraft landed minutes later. The military flight demonstration unit was in Smyrna for the Great Tennessee Airshow on Saturday and Sunday

A'ight, Tapatalk says it shares ad revenue with the sites I visit. Which one of you is lying?
Either no one on here ever clicked on a tapatalk link OR they're lying their asses off. No money has come this way.

That's what I'm saying, bro!
I ate $4 worth or pork roll this morning, bro!
You must be from South Jersey, bro!
You're sayin' it like it's a problem..... >:(
Lol, only saying that I've been well-taught as to the difference. You see, in North Jersey, they call it Taylor Ham. In South Jersey, it's pork roll, bro!
Even O'bummer knows that.  Discussed it in his commencement address at Rutgers  (have it on my FB page).
Now for your next quiz, try to guess the approximate line separating North and South Jersey.
Raritan

shelving man got locked out and I had to find the hidden key to the house. set up sprinklers and layed out for the pool and deck, and had to assemble a screen room/gazebo. the lady bought me one too, not sure when I'll get mine up. tomorrow I dig, rake, grade, and put pool together.
The way it is when you get old, not sure when I will get mine up either
Unfortunately, TWHS.... :-[
LOL. Nice catch.

That's what I've been telling yuz!

Evening Tony and MexicanDave.  Diesel corona and water after pizza and beer out with the warden.  A diet which won't help my junk look bigger, sad to say.

Correct, about Raritan to New Brunswick....but you're from Jersey, so it doesn't count.  Always struck me as odd that the line would be so far north....physical center is approx. Trenton to Belmar.
