Appreciate all the thoughts and moral support.  Still don't know much.  Meeting was vague.  I still have another "break-out session" in a couple of hours but tons of work to complete in the meantime.  The bottom line so far is that we suck and don't have the skills to support the business in the future.  They will definitely be outsourcing some stuff and bringing in outside help to fill the skills gap but there are no details yet.  Any new hires will not be in NYC.  Other jobs may also move outside NYC.  I'll post again if I process all this and am able to make sense of it.

Sounds like it was a meeting heavy on the buzzwords.

sounds like they need to cut down on non-productive meetings and trim a tier or two of bosses to me.
but what do I know, I'm retired.
