I have done that for about the last 10 days because it is too hot to smoke any other way with temps over 100 every day.   For what little it is worth supposed to cool down a bit with some rain this weekend but I don't have a lot of hope for that being reality.

Morning MotoRaz.
Morning, TD and Bean. Just ordered another grand worth of parts for the bike. Mostly a new exhaust system.

Lot of good a "theft proof " radio does in a vehicle when this is what is left after they try to steal it.  Happened to the Land Cruise one night back when my son was driving it at college and he just ran across the picture.

This is just unfuk'nbelievable!  (Bean's school district but mine probably does it too being as they have only lost about 5 games in the last 6 or 7 years.

ROUND ROCK, Texas (KXAN) — A change is coming to high school transcripts in the Round Rock Independent School District.

Starting this school year, the administration has decided to eliminate “D” from its letter grading scale.

Current grading scale New grading scale
A 90-100 A 90-100
B 80-89 B 80-89
C 75-79 C 70-79
D 70-74 F Below 70
F Below 70 Source: RRISD

A grade in the low 70s will no longer be classified as a “D.” The student will now get a “C” which represents all grades in the 70s. Any grade below 70 is still an “F.”

A student’s grade point average and class rank will still be calculated the same.

The district says it decided to make the change to help student-athletes and match a “common practice” of schools and districts around the country.

The NCAA uses the letter grades to calculate eligibility and scholarships

After all, it's all about equality. It's just that athletes need to be more equal.

Just think about all that money that will be redistributed when they sign with the NFL, get millions of dollars, spend it on hookers and blow, and end up living in a dumpster.

"help student-athletes".  yeah, right. One reason families prefer Round Rock over Austin is the superior public schools.  Looks like we're dumbing it down just like everywhere else.

Won't be long before the term "fail" is banned.  "Pass" and "Ladder for Improvement".

Seems the scale is shifting the other way. A 92 was still a B here way back when...
