Don't know on the downtime.  They were vacuum packed so they should be close to ready aside from transit temperature.  It was in the 70s all yesterday and 60s overnight (thanks, Hurricane) and still cool today.  Before that it was pretty hot.  I tend to use the pinch and smell test.  They feel right and smell right, chances are they're ready to smoke.

The PCEs box code iss TAL Jul 13 and the RGs is BRA Sep 12.

Having said all that, there's a chance I'll smoke a Perla tonight to start things off.  12 hours in the humidor for a little smoke that feels and smells right seems reasonable enough to me.   

I'll probably give the Partagas 2 weeks or so.  Stronger, more peppery blend and all that, all the better to not burn my sinuses with and let it the proper time to adjust.
