Morning Dave. How was the flight home?

Smooth flight home and even though we left Charleston 20 minutes late we made some of that up getting to Houston only 10 minutes late.   Had time in Houston for a good seafood lunch then arrived in Austin 5 minutes early.  4 flight segments round trip and everyone of them was packed full.

Well, not too much to complain about there, at least.

Nope, I would travel more if they were all like that.  Southwest is currently the best airline IMHO but then again the competition is not too difficult to out perform.

See, I use a poorly rated airline, have low expectations so more often than not am pleasantly surprised.

They all do that, as Dave just mentioned they always build in time and it is usually 15 minutes and sometimes more on each end of a flight segment, coincidentally the FAA classifies on-time ratings as no more than 15 minutes late.

The real problem is "they simply don't care"

Also the departure clock stops when they back away from the gate thus often the hurry and back away then fuk around for a while.  Exactly what they did with that flight from hell out of Hoston on our vacation.
