Morning Raz.
Hiya, Dave. Where the hell are you this week?
Visiting Bean and FrankenDave country.  Didn't bring my boots however.
Major violation of protocol.  You don't have to have boots to visit Texas, but if you have boots and neglect to wear them - well that there's nigh on a hangin' offense, pardner.
As perceived by someone from the commie west coast ::)
Well, that's how it was when I lived in Texas.
But this is Austin, so it's not really Texas.

That musta been back when college teams from Texas were good.  ;) :P
Yeah, TCU, Baylor, A&M, some real dogs.
SMU was actually good back in the day as well, before the death sentence.  Chad has 'em pretty excited again.  TCU and Baylor are fairly recent with their success.  (and Texas with it's lack thereof)

SMU Hoops also making headlines... unfortunately, not the good kind.

Hired a coach with a well known record of such activities so they can live or die with it
