The Ravens are firing Harbaugh. That seems like a bit of an overreaction on their part.
On one hand, I agree. A 193-124 record, and this is the first time the Ravens have missed the playoffs since 2021.
On the other hand, it's been 13 years since they went to the Super Bowl. Seattle only gave Pete Carroll eight years to get back to the dance before pushing him aside. Ownership can only endure being bridesmaids, and not the bride, for so long - except in Cleveland, and they discard coaches like toilet tissue. Okay, that's unfair. They gave Stefanski 6 years.
It's a brutal game.
Maybe the Browns should hire Harbaugh. Not sure he'd take the job though. Whatever is wrong in Cleveland has to be with the ownership.
There's at least one voice here in Seattle saying in the wake of the news that ATL has asked to interview Kubiak that if Kubiak gets hired for a head coach position, we should hire Stefanski as OC to replace him.
It's definitely the ownership. They greenlit giving up our future for the sexual predator, so that's all you need to know about them.
At the end of the day, it's still a head coach job in the NFL with a huge payday, so people (probably not Harbaugh) will be clamoring for the gig. Especially since they know they'll likely get paid for 5 years but only have to work 2-3. Lol
