I ain't going, regardless of the details. Is it an after hours event? Lunch event? Does it include other departments, like it did last year? The point is, there isn't a whole heck of a lot of time between now and then, and the details kinda matter.

Speaking of unwanted emails, we finally got the one I've been dreading - the unlimited OT train has pulled into the station.

Mother Nature is taking a shot at drowning us out here.  In an average November, Seattle gets about 6.5" of rain.  We're going to get between 8-12" this week alone. 

But hey, at least it won't be cold.

Yeah, I'm not crazy about those arbitrary manipulations.  I detected this on one for the third category.  Usually those have to wait for the end.
