Finally cut the front yard yesterday. It had gotten quite lush, which was the plan. Looks great now, hoping the added growth helped the root system so it might still look ok in the summer months.

It is morning. Has been for a while now. I wish more than anything that I could go back to sleep. Been up for over three hours and I'd like a redo.

Finally cut the front yard yesterday. It had gotten quite lush, which was the plan. Looks great now, hoping the added growth helped the root system so it might still look ok in the summer months.

I could use a second cut. It's been raining so much, I haven't really had the opportunity. Maybe Saturday.

I could use a second cut. It's been raining so much, I haven't really had the opportunity. Maybe Saturday.

That helped, too. All the rain after I'd put down some fertilizer. I had to empty the bag like 7 times. In fact, after the first couple of passes in the backyard, I raised the mower up one level, otherwise, I might still be out there.

That's a fine idea. Not sure I have it in me right now to cook something, but I definitely should so that I'm not scrambling at 8:pm trying to figure out what to eat.
