What's the occasion for the days off?
Going to my daughter's school because it's her senior year and she was selected to do a showcase/ art show.
Very cool.
Is she planning on going to college for something art related?
This is the daughter who is graduating college in a month. One of her majors is Photography. The other is Political Science, and then she has a minor in Women and Gender Studies. Put that all together and what do you get?? A lot of debt.
Ok, I thought maybe you meant the one in college, but then I didn't think there was any way she was graduating already. Time is a son of a bitch.
My oldest is going for a degree in video game design. She claims this can be a high-paying career, I have my doubts.
I have a friend who went into that 30 years ago and is still doing quite well. When I was coming up, if you'd have told me "influencer" was a job, I would have called you a heretic.
LALTS, true story.
But in a moment of clarity for her, she decided to do community college for the first 2 years, which transfers to KSU, which actually has the video game design program, because of the debt issue. She figured she could do the first 2 years for only a couple grand, as opposed to 50. That she got into the Honors program that pays her tuition was a bonus. Though, she's also taking 16 credit hours this summer to make sure she has all the requirements for the transfer program, which they don't pay for. So her college fund will foot that bill.
