Before your time. I remember him from a popular miniseries, The Thorn Birds.

Morning Tony.  Made it back last night.
Good morning, Travellin Dave. You were certainly missed here. How was your trip?
Very nice.  Quick stop in Baltimore to see the daughter and her partner, then up to Mass. to son #1 and the 3 grands with daughter joining us for the weekend.  Julia and I took a quick trip up to Portsmouth, Kennebunkport  and Portland where we stayed the night.  Hit Gloucester on the way back.  Had a couple of inches of snow when we crossed into Maine.  Great food the whole trip!  Stopped for a couple of days at my friend John's in NJ to break up the drive back.
I love the pics. Sounds like a fun trip. That's a lot of miles though. I hope you said hello to John for me.

Those of us who grew up in the 70s are thoroughly familiar. He was the King of the Mini-Series. RIP.

Man, the missus has a big pot of Sunday Gravy simmering on the stove - Sugo, Ragú, whatever it's supposed to be called. The house smells amazing.

I think I the cat just mowed at me in Italian.
