Had to get a new battery for my car yesterday, as my current one was starting to struggle a bit. First few minutes of my lunch will be taken up with its installation.

Sounds like fun. Make sure you find a dry spot to do that work.

Don't get me started. The Explorer has been in the shop since Wednesday. Bad rear wheel bearings, one completely disintegrated. So, new bearings, brakes, and emergency brake cable...then yesterday they discovered the rear end was badly rusted. So it's gonna be a coupla grand plus.

Still cheaper than a new vehicle.

Took longer than I expected because I didn't clean the leads properly the first time, but done in about 20 minutes. All from the comfort of the garage.

Does that save you any money?

No. I got it at Walmart and they would've installed it for free, but when I was there yesterday, they were wrapping up in the auto shop, so they couldn't do it.

But I can take my old battery back there and get a $12 refund. So I guess there's that.

Harder on the wallet, but easier on the body.

You could have used that money on a new pistol.

But my bonus check was deposited into my account, so that helps me forget about SweaterGate.
So what cigars are you treating yourself to?
Well, I certainly have a lot of AB options.

Any suggestions?
Hmmm. I'll have to think about that one and get back to you. Although there are enough cigar of the year lists out there to give you a starting point.
This is true.
Two cigars...

The first, I've smoked and I enjoyed it:
AJ's New World Dorado

The second, haven't tried it yet but it's been on my radar and now it's #9 on Aficionado's 2022 list:
Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real Nicaragua.
Good cigar but don't tell anyone. Don't need these getting more expensive like the H Upmann by the same.

I got sick. Had me down and out for a bit. Got behind at work. Reason for my absence.
