Merry fuckin' whatever, muchachos. I wasted the weekend in serious withdrawal from Vicodin so Fat Tuesday can kiss my ass.

Sumbitch was unpleasant.
Mornin nonVicaRaz!
Morning, Shaun. Don't ever spend three months taking narcotics. Stopping is a fun-free experience for days.
But how's the leg feel?
Like N'damukong Su stepped on it two days ago. But I can deal.
I'm gonna have to Google that and get back to you.
Wasn't familiar with him.  He's on my radar now.  Should I pick him for my fantasy team?
If you never heard of him I wouldn't even bother with a fantasy team
C'mon, Detroit?  Are they even a factor?
Yeah, we need to get you into a league.
We should do a banter league this year - I would be in.  Cigars for the buy-in, maybe 10(5 good and 5 decent) cigars...would be a good time I think.
That'd be fun, what kind of cigars is Tony going to have to buy for us?
No gurks - if Joe win's, AJ's only!
Joe? Joe who?

Happy Tuesday, all.
Morning Joe

Morning, Scott.  Had a Ninkasi Imperiale stout last night.  Pretty damn good, but it did have a weird metallic aftertaste to it.  I can't really ever describe that sensation better than that but I get it from time to time with beer.  Someone once explained to me what it was, but I forget.

Also, debating whether to make an effort to follow the Kings or the Ducks, been watching them a lot lately.  Ducks just announced that they're relocating their AHL team to San Diego next year, so that could be fun.  Or maybe I'll just watch whoever's on and see if a team sticks.

Morning, Joe.

Morning, Dave.  Snowing out your way or is that still farther east?  Pretty hot weekend, here... in the 80s.

No snow for the last couple of days, just bitter cold. Think the snow will be back tomorrow, though.

Both good and successful, LA gets my vote though.  Couple of alumni from UND play there(Matt Greene(Asst Capt) and Derek Forbert)

Hmmm... I've watched more Kings games in the past month or so than the Ducks.  But Anaheim is MUCH easier to get to than where the Kings play in downtown Los Angeles.  I know most about the Capitals from radio podcasts I listen to from back east, but I'm not paying extra money to get them on TV.  Gotta be someone I can watch regularly.

Well you've got 2 nice teams to choose from there, can't go wrong.

I always likened a metallic taste to the cap, not knowing any different. Sometimes there's a bit of rust-like stuff under the cap, I actually think Ballast Point caps aren't great but that's a separate issue by the sound of it

Better than a Yankee fan, I guess!  Always liked Mike Piazza!

Yeah, well, I'm ALWAYS most excited for baseball.  Everything else just passes the time.  I can't get in to college basketball, so hockey is a nice diversion until baseball starts up.  Padres should be decent this year.  I'll always be a Yankees fan but at least the local team will be worth watching.  In years past I've felt like they should pay ME to go the games.
