Not at all new been around for 125 years,  make a large percentage of the military small arms.  Made In South Carolina, USA.  Somewhat Moderately priced, good quality, very dependable and very functional but not overly fancy.  Both rifles and pistols.

"Midnight Man", a relatively obscure (and not particularly good) movie, a little dated but with sentimental value (filmed at Clemson), starring Burt Lancaster now available on YouTube.  One that old guys can appreciate.
