my biker buddy's wife is coming over around 9:30 am. apparently he's driving her nuts and needs to talk. this will be interesting.

Why do I hear train wreck all over this one?

Yep, woman driving the car must have had to toot and missed the honk honk..

Wonder if she tried to get past even though she knew the train was coming?

People sometimes amaze me, if you see traffic ahead of you is not moving, do not enter a train crossing,
unless you can get off the tracks on the other side.  she could have been stopped on the tracks when the gates went down.   common sense is not all that common.  I have stopped ahead of the gates, when traffic is not moving, and have had people behind me beeping the horn, wanting me to wait on the tracks.  idjiots all of them.

I've been wanting to get a dashboard camera just to record all the idiots out there.  The street I live on is only 3 blocks long.  As I left the house doing the 30 mph speed limit, a car passed me going head on towards another car which was about 8 car lengths ahead.  I thought the car would have pulled in behind me, but they kept going.  I and the other car had to slam on our breaks, so the woman could make it.  There's a stop sign at the end of the street, and she was about 5th I line at the stop. I guess she was in a hurry to get into line..?  Oh, did anyone see the plane crash that was caught on some ones dashboard camera.  It crashed right in front of them.

Yeah, amazingly cool video...I mean, except for the fact that 19 people died.
