Turns out I picked a great day to travel by car to our NJ office.  Just got this text, "Subject:NJ Transit Alerts
NJT trains may experience intermittent system wide cancellations and delays, due to weather related issue."  Received another stating that my usual train was CANCELLED today.  How is it that the Russians get trains in and out of Siberia without a problem but  NJT can't get you into the city because it's cold?

Yes, but your temps will recover to what today?
it might hit 50 by 5pm but I doubt it with the windchills.

New Jersey can't get out of it's own way and you expect the trains to run?

So you're going to be lurking off today?
Yes.  Off and on.  In and out.  You get the gist.
You keep your gist to yourself.

Howdy, Dean.  The road beckons so I guess I must be on my way... If my car starts.  :)

makes no sense, businesses depend on public transportation, but when the weather is too bad that the public transportation cannot/will not run, the businesses demand the public transport themselves. governmental thinking at one of it's finest moments.
