If you have Ab (antibodies) it means you were either exposed or vaccinated against the virus. Circulating antibodies means that the exposure was somewhat recent. Along with antibodies, you have memory cells that quickly churn out more antibody if they "see" the virus or agent again.
I understand that part. The million dollar question is to what level immunity do we have and for how long after testing for antibodies. Some are questioning if we have any immunity at all.
valid question. This is where science and not presidential hunches comes in. Won't know for a year or more, but based on other corona virus types we are more familiar with. best guess is two years, maybe more.
