It's 36 degrees outside, and of all things, I have another mole in my backyard.  I already got 5 at the end of the summer and I thought that would be the end of them.  I'm starting to think there must be a mommy mole living under my central air unit..?

Sounds like another job for the spade. Thing's gonna have quite the collection of tally marks carved on the handle... you should name it now. Like a WWII airplane.  ;D

to and from CI CS:

I have a $266 order ready to go in. when I tried to check out using the SAVE25 I got this message the code is no good and I find this HUGE list of cigars that are excluded.
REALLY?
so now my order is hanging in the balance deciding if I want to save 25% or not. that would have been nice.

Dean,

We understand your concern about the limitation for certain brands to be included in the 25% off deal. We wish that we could provide the deal on all brands. Unfortunately, the manufacturers of these brands have made a business decision to subscribe to the Minimum Advertised Pricing (MAP) structure. No authorized seller may advertise prices lower than what their MAP structure dictates. If we extended the deal to these products, it would be a violation of our contract with them. While it may seem like a long list of products, we carry hundreds of blends that are eligible for the 25% off discount.

We’re sorry for any inconvenience this causes you. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please let us know.

Sincerely,

Sharlene

fake customer service reply,
You may use the save25 code on plenty of cigars, like 5Vegas, Hesitant Pirate, Raji's Demise, and many others.
....... all the cigars I don't want.

hi Steve. moles are like skunks, they love to eat grubs (japanese beetles), treat your lawn for grubs and you'll get rid of the moles, unless you find pleasure in hunting and killing them.
When you get that mole, I have a woodchuck under the garage & deck you could go after, not to mention feral cats....
By next spring, I may have enough experience to start a business catching these damn things.  My friend that taught me how to catch a mole charges $30 each.  I said to him, "who the hell would pay $30 for a mole...?  He said, "the people that live in the $250,000 houses and just spent a fortune on landscaping."

Bullshit MAP's apply to advertised prices and a universal discount code is not an advertised price on any specific brand.  CI and Famous along with some other majors are a bunch of Douche Bags.

Now, you say 'catch' them, so dead or alive isn't implied. Which would mean he probably catches them, then lets them go in one of the neighbors yards... smart business sense.

AfternOon all. On the patio with a Nica Libre lit and a very nice home brewed stout.  Little chilly out but not bad.

Had my favorite sandwich anywhere at the Tattooed Moose in Charleston for lunch.  It is a Duck Club Sandwich, yes made with real duck breast with fresh cut fries cooked in duck fat.  It is beyond belief good.  Also had a local brewed Stout from Holy City Brewery called Pluf Mud.  All damn good!
