sorry i disappeared, very busy afternoon, totally un expected and un wanted.
Likewise.  On the plus side was a meeting at a very good Austin BBQ joint.  On the minus side I noticed they now have prominatent "no smoking" signs on their beautiful patio overlooking the hill country.  Used to be able to enjoy a cigar out there.  As TXDave would say, the Austin commies continue their march unabated.
The Commiewealth of Austin?  Say it ain't so!
CB!!  How ya doooin'?  how was the trip?
Trip was good, thanks.  Drive back, no so much.  Warden caught a cold and wasn't up to driving and woke up to a flat the next morning. Shit happens.  Wazzup with you and yours?
actually, all's well in ss2ville.  my son & dil had our 2nd grandson last week and he's doing well,  my oldest daughter passed the bar 2 weeks ago, and my youngest is having her senior recital  for graduation from college.  she graduates in the spring, but next semester is all taken up with student teaching so she's doing her final recital on Sunday.  You're welcome to come!  we're having a small reception at her apartment afterwards.   flat tires on trips do suck.  unloading the trunk, changing it and loading everything back up.
hope the warden's feeling better.

Hey Mikey.  Oh yeah, the nanny state is hitting on all cylinders down here.
Just imagine what we would do to ourselves if we weren't properly supervised.  Shit, we might even live our lives the way we want to.  Can't have that!
you're right because if we actually got to do what we wanted, we might actually be....happy?  can't have that either!

Don't forget all the helpful hints from all the bystanders.  Great family news.  Everybody moving upward and onward - and off the payroll hopefully.  Grandpa ss2!
