For Travellin Dave and Any Other Non-Believers regarding the real Death Valley -

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — LSU officials say a man has died of a heart attack at Tiger Stadium during the school's 10-7 victory over Mississippi on Saturday night.  The LSU fan who died of natural causes in Tiger Stadium late in the fourth quarter against Ole Miss Saturday (Oct. 25) night has been identified as Brian Tingley. He was 59 and lived in the New Orleans metro area, East Baton Parish Coroner William "Beau" Clark said Sunday.
Only one....no problem.

Baton Rouge has no hills to run down (or up either) so give you that one!  But of course you are right in there with the Cocks @ # 5 so where is the value in "entry"? :)

So I revisited the Tatuaje Tattoo last night, my second since buying a couple whenever they were released.  I thought it showed improvement and wasn't quite as bitter as the first one I'd had, but it's still nothing special.  Mostly cedar and pepper, still a bit rough around the edges.  Maybe they'd be decent after a year or so, but these are definitely smoking like the "budget" cigars they're supposed to be, IMO.  At a B&M, for $5, sure.  You can do a lot better at that price point online, though.  The Illusione Rothchildes is significantly better at the same price.
I saw an interview with PJ he said that blend shines in the torpedo, if I ever try one I'm going to start there

Couple beers this weekend... Lost Abbey Serpent's Stout.  11% ABV in a 750ml bottle.  Had a weird metallic taste.  Wouldn't buy again.  Also had a Victory at Sea, which still stands at the top of my list.  It's the best.

Thought we might get to this at some point.

Two I picked up this weekend were the Terrapin Moo Hoo Chocolate Milk Stout and Bell's Special Double Cream Stout.  I haven't tried the Bell's yet, but the Moo Hoo hit the spot. I would say it is very consistent with last years batch. A bit on the sweet side, but still very good.

No question, had the Epic Big Bad Baptist which was really good, re-buy for sure but it's limited

I gave it some time.  Switched back to whiskey for a few days there, got a lot more nice stuff over the weekend.

Forgot about the Stone Enjoy By 10/31/14 I also had.  Very tasty, more citrusy than previous batches have been.

Leaving for Naples, FL on Friday, will be interesting to shop for beer down there after another year of drinking. They have a better-than-average walk-in humidor there also (ABC store), lots of Padron and MF stuff, no Tats though if memory serves

I liked the Jai Alai IPA that I got from Cigar City Brewing when I was there... it was the only non-California IPA I've had and really enjoyed.  We're spoiled out here with the IPAs.
