Today's Highlight in History:
In 1980, the FBI announced that about $5,800 of the $200,000 ransom paid to hijacker "D.B. Cooper" before he parachuted from a Northwest Orient jetliner in 1971 had been found by an 8-year-old boy on a riverbank of the Columbia River in Washington state.
And that boy was Raz!

Windy as heck out there. 2 more months of this crap?
I don't know, felt pretty good having a smoke without even a jacket on.
Pretty mild this coming week as well it appears.
Just call me Mr. Positivity.
Althought I can't put a positive spin on todays CI and Sis offerings...

You're definitely not the most pessimistic Dave I've met.

Great, so you roll back in hacking and sneezing and infect us all....
The coughing finally went away yesterday. Still a bit on the tired side, though. All 3 kids got it, too, so it was a very germy week in our house.
You'll have to set off a Lysol bomb or something.  This all came after the birthday parties at least, right?
It was. The oldest started to feel a like worn out on the day of the party, and she then stayed home from school all week. Luckily, somehow, none of the other people at the party got sick.

That's good.  Don't want to be getting that evil eye from the other parents.

It was just family. I don't do kid parties. But there were 3 people there north of 79. Those are the ones I worry about.

Burned one yesterday with Andy, Belle Arte for the first time. Nice cigar and pretty damned comfortable outside

On the Espinosa cigar yesterday, a CI Exclusive:

This 6″ x 52 Toro has an Ecuador Habano wrapper, Corojo binder and Nicaraguan fillers. The wrapper is milk-chocolate-brown with very fine veins, it’s an attractive cigar.  I was very surprised with this cigar, pleasantly so. It was perfect for early in the day, the flavors were smooth and creamy, with some sweetness akin to a coffee with cream and sugar (which paired nicely with the cup of black coffee I enjoyed). I really should have grabbed another handful of these, but I had spent too much there already! Great cigar.
