Son just called and DIL's father (also a good friend of ours) was hit by a car on his morning walk.  At the hospital with cuts and bruises and a possible broken ankle still checking him out but does not appear to have anything more serious than that.  He is my age and retired 3 weeks before I did.

And today's nasty Hollywood story, Travellin Dave might need to add this topic to his regular  morning updates!

First CFP rankings are out:

1Georgia8-0NR
2Alabama8-0NR

3Notre Dame7-1NR
4Clemson7-1NR
5Oklahoma7-1NR
6Ohio State7-1NR
7Penn State7-1NR
8TCU        7-1NR
9Wisconsin8-0NR
10Miami       7-0NR
Well looky there...
And the winners are both undefeated and representing the SEC
ND's schedule hasn't been a cake walk , either.  Still have Miami and Stanford among ranked opponents to go
Biggest problem with ND is that come the end of the season, when all things are neck and neck, they don't have a championship game to play in.  Will probably hurt them unless their last games are all stellar and those undefeated teams stumble.
Yes, Georgia needs to lose one.

Run over from behind and witness said he was knocked up into the air and landed out in the roadway.  Definitely a broken ankle but that is fortunately the most serious issue.

Not winners, just leaders.
So 8-0's are not winners but a 7-1 team that got waxed by an Unranked opponent is?

Guess you have not returned to reality. ::)
Yes, as proven by the 2016 National Champion!   ;D
And as disproven by the 2015 Championship in addition to the fact since the Dabo arrival they have a 4-5 record against the Cocks . ;D
No, actually reproven in 2015 as the one loss team beat the undefeated team.
And it's a shame the pathetic Cocks only have that to hold on to as they haven't won in three years.  So go ahead and celebrate that 5 year streak aberration...they're 7-16 since 2000, 10-25 in the past 25 years, 14-28 since I went there and 42-68-4 overall.  Celebrate away!
Laughable!
Indeed, the Coots are.

I would rather that Alabama does (to Georgia).  That would help ND as well by possibly clearing out Bama, or dropping them to 3-4 and making the ND loss by one point to Georgia better.

He's lucky. Lady was hit and killed in our neighborhood on Saturday.   No knowledge of the details, but I came upon the accident shortly after it happened.  She was lying in the street, emergency services had not yet arrived.  Plenty of people already milling around trying to help, so I just did a uturn and found another route.

which is why I stress, that the only exercise, you should contemplate,
are the pint curls, either at your home, or in a public house.  Dean, you may continue with
your coffee and cigars, and the ladies of course(good cardio, that!).

Do you think the folks at home Depot, which usually rent out the truck for a few hours, so
people can get their bulky buys home, have a guy that checks stuff out.  You probably don't even need a
credit card, just a cash deposit, and a drivers license.

He has 3 broken bones in his ankle including one through the joint.  To be transported to a different hospital for surgery tonight or tomorrow morning.

we know you live by a golf course, with a
nearby dock, how far away is the beach?
