I think those Indians may come up with a different name for their dream over the next couple years.

World Series Champs?
CNS, quite the gloom & doom from LTG. Same shit's been happening forever, I agree with Bret. Stay focused on raising your family properly and they'll be well equipped to handle themselves in the big, cruel world
Next election day, if you guys could focus on your family and stay home...

Morning, muchachos.

Howdy, Bret...
Backatcha, Steve. Hope all is well with you.

It's all good in the neighborhood... how was the fishing trip?
Fabulous. Smoked a bunch of cigars, played some music, drank some good whiskey, did some fishin', and sat up till all hours having great conversations. Fun times.

Oh, and people spent a lot of time admiring these - I received them just in time for the trip. ;-)

What did you stab with them?  Slicin' and dicin' widda Raz.  Did you cut bait or fish?

Wow! Those are nice. How much you give for something like that/those to be made?
They're spendy, anything completely handmade is gonna cost. Nominally, the larger one is $1200 and the smaller one $800. But I got a special deal because I was helping the builder capitalize a new piece of manufacturing equipment. You know, doing what makes America really great. ;-) So I got both for $1200.

whoa... what are they made of, Valyrian Steel!?!

/puts wallet back in pocket. lol
The steel is D2. Yes, they were an extravagance. The cost was for the craftsmanship.

These are heirlooms. #1 Son already claimed the smaller one when I kick off, and #2 Son was delighted to claim the larger. Chances are, my grandchildren will fight over these knives someday. They commemorate a moment in time.

Morning, all. Anyone have any classified info they'd like to share with me?
Yes I do - GFY!
Maybe THAT'S what Drumpf should've told the Russian ambassador!
Why are you surprised by anything he does? And there are no consequences so why not?
Or how can you be so stupid as to actually believe anything political published by the Washington Post or NY Times?
Oh yeah, I forgot. #FakeNews
http://aol.it/2pS4WrS
This tells you all you need to know:   Current and former anonymous US officials

If you don't have a verifiable source you don't have any news - If you  like anonymous former sources I can send you plenty of garbage from the other political direction to believe too.
I understand your point. But tell me honestly that he doesn't ever do or say things that make you cringe and make it impossible for you to defend?
But we're used to cringing. Eight years of Obama and the absurdity of various progressive nonsense have acclimatized us. And since there was no viable true conservative candidate for president, and progressives had created an environment of ridiculousness, we settled for the social phenomena of giving progressives a big, hairy middle finger. The more cringeworthy the better.
Great plan, America be damned.
I will gladly buy your one-way ticket out.
Why would I leave? I'm the one who actually cares about the future of the country. I understand you're at an age where you're well into the back-9, and you've raised your kids, so perhaps a middle finger to the country is fun. But when you've got 50 or so years to go, and 3 kids left to raise, you care a bit more about the future of the country, not just the now.
It's not a middle finger to the country, it's a middle finger to progressives and to socialist ideas, which have been proven vacant. The most important thing you need to raise your kids, and me to finish raising mine, is to keep more of your money in your pocket, so you can manage to offset the predations of a public education system that is thoroughly controlled by a socialist teacher's union, teach your kids how to earn and invest money, purchase the education they need and want, and do all the things necessary so they can compete in a global economy where they are up against a billion Indians who are working their asses off to obtain the American dream. These are the undeniable realities of the situation.
I think those Indians may come up with a different name for their dream over the next couple years.
Not a chance. You know anything about the Indian bureaucracy? You can't take a shit without bribing three bureaucrats. They can't even manage their currency. That's why so many want to come here. And so long as other countries keep trying to prop up socialism, it will continue to be so. The reason America is so rich and powerful is we guarantee property rights, and we have no interest in giving the government 40% of GDP.
