Well, my root canal later today is off. Apparently, the dentist that's in today only does root canals on certain teeth? I don't know what the fuck that means, but for now, I've been pushed off until Friday, unless I can find someone else that can do it sooner. And so far, that's been a losing proposition.

Can't say that I've ever heard of such a thing. How's the pain level?

Unpleasant at the best times, life-questioning at the worst. They say they're calling meds in to hold me off until Friday, we'll see if they actually do it or not.

I've called a few other places, either they don't have any openings or they don't accept our insurance. So it looks like I'm grinding it out.

Made a braised beef and will serve it over potato puree for dinner. It's smelling delicious in the house this evening. As usual, dinner will be eaten very late again today. Heading to my son's dress rehearsal shortly, and probably won't be back home until after 9:pm.
