Stormed like a MoFo here this morning about 1:30.

67 mph wind at the airport and golf ball size hail in parts of town, fortunately the hail missed us but the wind was probably in the 50+ range here.

Morning Dave and Dave!  Good Thursday to you.

Today is Thursday, March 24, the 84th day of 2016. There are 282 days left in the year.

Today's Highlight in History:

On March 24, 2015, Germanwings Flight 9525, an Airbus A320, crashed into the French Alps, killing all 150 people on board; investigators said the jetliner was deliberately downed by the 27-year-old co-pilot, Andreas Lubitz, who had a history of depression and mental illness.

On this date:

In 1765, Britain enacted the Quartering Act, requiring American colonists to provide temporary housing to British soldiers.

In 1832, a mob in Hiram, Ohio, attacked, tarred and feathered Mormon leaders Joseph Smith Jr. and Sidney Rigdon.

In 1913, New York's Palace Theatre, the legendary home of vaudeville, opened on Broadway.

In 1934, President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed a bill granting future independence to the Philippines.

In 1944, in occupied Rome, the Nazis executed more than 300 civilians in reprisal for an attack by Italian partisans the day before that had killed 32 German soldiers.

In 1955, the Tennessee Williams play "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" opened on Broadway.

In 1958, rock-and-roll singer Elvis Presley was inducted into the Army in Memphis, Tennessee.

In 1975, Muhammad Ali defeated Chuck Wepner with a technical knockout in the 15th round of a fight in Richfield, Ohio. (Wepner, a journeyman known as the "Bayonne Bleeder," inspired Sylvester Stallone to make his "Rocky" films.)

In 1976, the president of Argentina, Isabel Peron, was deposed by her country's military. British war hero Field Marshal Viscount Montgomery, 88, died in Alton, Hampshire, England.

In 1989, the supertanker Exxon Valdez (vahl-DEEZ') ran aground on a reef in Alaska's Prince William Sound and began leaking an estimated 11 million gallons of crude oil.

In 1995, after 20 years, British soldiers stopped routine patrols in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

In 1999, NATO launched airstrikes against Yugoslavia, marking the first time in its 50-year existence that it had ever attacked a sovereign country. Thirty-nine people were killed when fire erupted in the Mont Blanc tunnel in France and burned for two days.

Ten years ago: Thousands of people across the country protested legislation cracking down on immigrants who were in the U.S. illegally. In Selmer, Tennessee, Mary Winkler was charged with shooting to death her minister-husband, Matthew Winkler, in the parsonage of their church. (Mary Winkler, who said she'd been abused by her husband, was convicted of voluntary manslaughter and received a three-year prison sentence, but was granted probation for most of it.)

Five years ago: The Census Bureau released its first set of national-level findings from the 2010 count on race and migration, showing that Hispanics accounted for more than half of the U.S. population increase over the previous decade, exceeding estimates in most states as they crossed a new census milestone: 50 million, or 1 in 6 Americans. A private funeral was held at Forest Lawn Cemetery for Elizabeth Taylor (the service began 15 minutes behind schedule in accordance with the actress' wish to be late for her own funeral).

One year ago: President Barack Obama received Afghan President Ashraf Ghani at the White House, where Obama agreed to slow the U.S military pullout from Afghanistan at the request of its new government but insisted the delay would not jeopardize his commitment to end America's longest war before leaving office.

The tax grabbers luv to hear this but for the folks living here it is just more hell.

The Austin metro area is officially home to more than 2 million people, according to U.S. Census Bureau numbers released Thursday.
From July 2014 to July 2015, the Austin-Round Rock metropolitan area — which includes Travis, Williamson, Hays, Bastrop and Caldwell counties — grew from 1,943,465 to 2,000,860, making it the fastest-growing metropolitan area with a population over 1 million for the fifth year in a row.
“That of course won’t be news to anyone who lives here,” said Austin’s city demographer, Ryan Robinson. “We’ve become so accustomed to that very high level of population growth being part of our daily existence.”

Fish is definitely far more correct on this one!

What it does is make me cuss more at this fuk'n traffic and lines in the stores.   Simple issue is infrastructure can't keep up with that kind of growth, not enough roads, grocery stores, gas stations or any other such necessities.

Not to mention the continued Californiaization of the place. Ugh! (© Bad Dad 2016)
And the warden sent a note while ago that she had been stuck on 620 for a fuk'n hour.

Pretty sure this makes you a hipster.

Yeah, where's a Bueso ashtray when you need one?
got a Genisis Habano that i brought with me to work.

you could fit a lot of these into a pod.  I am thinking a tupperdore  or

I thought i would give the LI Sal lunch trailer a try again.  large
chicken parmagiana sub.  I think that their tomato sauce might be a bit too
stongly flavored, more garlic and oregano, than I am used to.  Could be a Sicilian thing
whereas My forebears came from Naples, Perugia, and Grassano parts of Italy.

Well, RG III officially signed by the Browns. Probably means they won't be taking a QB at #2, which sucks, cause I wanted Wentz.

...Ugh!

No worries. He'll break something soon enough. You may want to just get an extra anyway.
Do they play the Seahawks this season? We broke him the first time. We could arrange it again, I'm sure.

Pretty sure AFC north plays the NFC east this year. Meaning, he'll play vs. the Redskins... probably at Washington. So, they'll get a chance to vent some frustration... if he is still healthy by then.

Do they play the Seahawks this season? We broke him the first time. We could arrange it again, I'm sure.

Looks like you play the AFC East... Miami, Buffalo, NYJets, Deflategate.  ;)
Well, sorry then can't help.

Good deal. Dad gave up another of Gramps 30/30's to me not too long back. More sentimental than anything, but they are still fun to shoot every now and again.

Haven't worn a speedo since swim-team in high school.  But I could do to drop 15 pounds. Have to get in shape for hunting in Montana at Thanksgiving.

Sold a couple of pieces recently and finally bought a single stack size carry gun I really like, XDs .45 3.3" and with the 6 round mag it is easy to hold on to but still easy to carry and not bad with the 7 round.  Shoots nice for a small big bore piece, a bit small for comfort with the 5 round mag though.

30S and it is a thin slide double stack, luv it but just sometimes (summertime) it is just too big.

Still got it too.

Here we go the answer to my problem!

JUST IN TIME FOR FESTIVALS, EVENTS and RETIREMENT!

 09 EZGO MPT BEVERAGE CART

 13hp KAWASAKI ENGINE

 LIGHTS

 4 COMPARTMENT BEVERAGE BINS

4 COMPARTMENT SANDWICH / FOOD PLEXIGLASS VENDOR

CIGAR HUMIDOR

 PLEXIGLASS ONE PIECE WINDSHIELD

 SIDE MIRROR

 COLORFUL CANVAS FULL LENGTH CANOPY
Trying to catch up on the banter and saw your post and photos.  Are you interested, TR.?  What are the details?
I have done this for a few benefit golf tournaments.  Since I am not a decent golfer, my contributions to these events is to sell my cigars to the golfers at registration and then throughout the day (using the club's golf carts), cruise the course selling the cigars.  Then I donate the full amount as my contribution.
So, I feel like I'm giving something to a good cause ... my labor in finding good cigars online, then making them available to the golfers, which they appreciate, and giving the cash to those responsible.  Usually I bring two boxes worth, sell one to golfers, then make another available for the silent auction at cocktail and dinner time, which have done well.  I could use a cart like this.

Just sort of a passing thought when I saw it.  It is Alabama and around $3900 asking if you are interested I will find the link again and send it to you.

Those of us who really deal shop frequently buy cigars cheaper than smaller B&M's do.
