Saw 2 good movies that have max impact on the big screen: Star Wars and The Revenant, both very powerful & interesting on many levels.Was really impressed with the new Star Wars, and that was even with really high expectations. Looking forward to it coming out on DVD in a week or 2.

Ohio Bill Would Ease Smoking Ban for Private Clubs
A new bill in Ohio could make it easier for private clubs to allow smoking in their clubs. Last week, Sen. Joe Schiavoni, D-Boardman, introduced S.B. 295, a bill that would modify Ohio’s indoor smoking ban to greatly increase the number of private clubs where smoking would be allowed. Currently, smoking is permitted in private clubs that are located in a freestanding structure, do not have any employees and are non-profits. S.B. 295 would modify all three of these conditions. For-profit clubs would be able to allow smoking. They would also be able operate alongside other businesses so long as they properly deal with ventilation. Employees would be able to work in the club so long as they are 18. The clubs would have to pay a new annual fee to the Department of Health’s smoke free indoor air fund. Ohio law already contains exemptions for retail tobacco shops and family-owned businesses where all employees are related to the employee.

Baton Rouge, La. Considers Banning Smoking in Bars & Casinos
First it was New Orleans, now the second largest city in New Orleans will consider banning smoking in bars and casinos. The ordinance, which is likely to be voted in on April, is likely to already have five of seven needed sponsors. Like New Orleans, Baton Rouge is home to a variety of casinos which provided $9.8 million to the city-parish last year. Since a smoking ban was enacted in New Orleans last year, several casinos have reported a notable drop in revenue, including an over 30 percent drop year-to-year for certain months at Harrah’s New Orleans

this from the guy whose TV in the living room's best input is SVHS! It is a good ole RCA 36 inch TV, Dual Analog tuners, so picture in a picture hasn't worked for years since FIOS went digital. but in the man cave media room, BlueRay, 42inch flat screen with 7.1 sound.

Get off the train and walk over across the street to COSTCO and check out the new 75" Samsung 4k and take it home with you! Most amazing TV I have ever seen in my life!No HighDef flat screens in the house yet? 40 inch 1080p is now very affordable, with 4k out there now. either way, BlueRay disk might come packed with a DVD, worth it to get that package, watch DVD now, use Blueray in the future.Really want to get a BlueRay player, but would need a new tv in order to do that, and I'm reluctant to get a new tv when my current one still works like a champ. I'll still be slumming with the DVD, for now.BlueRay, with 7.1 sound please.....Saw 2 good movies that have max impact on the big screen: Star Wars and The Revenant, both very powerful & interesting on many levels.Was really impressed with the new Star Wars, and that was even with really high expectations. old colonial house, don't have a wallspace or a room big enough for that. plus, I am cheap, don't want to spend more than $500 for a TV, although I did go above that for the Denon Reciever for the media room. You can get a BlueRay player as they don't cost much more than a standard DVD (when you can find them). They play regular stuff too until you upgrade the TV so you can enjoy it more.

A new bill in Ohio could make it easier for private clubs to allow smoking in their clubs. Last week, Sen. Joe Schiavoni, D-Boardman, introduced S.B. 295, a bill that would modify Ohio’s indoor smoking ban to greatly increase the number of private clubs where smoking would be allowed. Currently, smoking is permitted in private clubs that are located in a freestanding structure, do not have any employees and are non-profits. S.B. 295 would modify all three of these conditions. For-profit clubs would be able to allow smoking. They would also be able operate alongside other businesses so long as they properly deal with ventilation. Employees would be able to work in the club so long as they are 18. The clubs would have to pay a new annual fee to the Department of Health’s smoke free indoor air fund. Ohio law already contains exemptions for retail tobacco shops and family-owned businesses where all employees are related to the employee.

Reading Material - Added on a couple of Earnest Hemmingway works yesterday so now the bookshelf is pretty well set for at least 2 years of reading. Magazines, 3 year subscriptions all in place.
Technology - New iPhone(s) in October, new computer in place, still need new iPad.
Cigars - 5-7 years worth in the humi's
Alcohol - Does not keep that well so mostly will be a buy as needed.
Pussy - now there is a seriously deficient supply :(

is in Manhattan at 33rd & 10th. Lunch special $8 ziti with meatball, soup( pasta fazool!) & garllic knots.
$1 can of soda what a buy. stood in line with a bunch of construction workers from across the street. Soup is
good so far.

Another late evening work conference call going here. Just glad I was able to sneak a smoke in on my way home and take advantage of the decent weather.Had a CAO La Trav maddie gifted to me by a generous Texas buddy. It was good but I don't enjoy them as much as I used to. Although I always preferred the non-maddie on that line.
