Yes Dean, yes there are.  Pancakes are only good for breakfast with syrup and strawberries.  Tucking them into your waistband is also undesirable.

I guess that's all relative. She survived the test, but there was a lot of screaming and crying, so take that as you will. Though, I can't fault her, it was an extremely invasive procedure.

I have planned ahead, I am taking a vacation day, the first day of the strike.
gonna see if I can telecommute, big no-no working for the city.  But I don't think I can make it
those extra blocks from the Port Authority Bus Terminal on 42nd & 8th, as opposed to the two
blocks, I'm just about making from the train station.

What are the dimensions of this piece?
14.2"L x 8.6"W x 2"H

Tell them to walk on the sidewalks, get off the fucking streets. then get up, and go to the hotel bar,

I haven't picked my grandkids up from school for some time now.  Anyway, I had to pick up my granddaughter from 1st grade yesterday.  I was sitting outside of the school waiting, and hear comes my granddaughter with her teacher.  The teacher said, "I wanted to meet Autumns grandfather." Then she want on to say how Autumn had been so excited all day that her grandfather was coming to pick her up from school.  I guess the teacher must have got caught up into it too because she seemed just as excited to meet Autumn's grandfather.  Up until then, it was just another day.  But through Autumn's eyes it had a completely different meaning, and had been a very special day.   Anyway, it was just one of those little heart felt moments that makes being a grandfather so rewarding.

Ahhh, that little lock-picker is really coming along.

My son was trying to take a leak and was having a slow start when my grandson Luke (4 years old) walked into the bathroom.  Luke said, "I know what your problem is, your too high from the bowl.  You need to get down here were I am and it will work faster..!"

Hey Dave, speaking of decline, how's Mr. JWacky?  Did you already see him?
His beloved VA Tech is playing in the ACC tournament this evening.
Just watched ND come from behind and beat Duke in overtime.
Tournament is playing in the Verizon Center in DC.  Some really good ball being played.
Still coughing and recovering from a bug (on antibiotics), but it'll be hard not to go out
and find someplace to watch the games.

A sure sign of the decline of the culture.
Think we've been declined.  more a matter of how low can you go.
In fact I saw Dan and Joe last night.  Nice evening smoking cigars and solving the problems of the world.  Watched the VT game last night and they looked solid.  Play Miami tonight at 9:00.  Asked him to try to stop in here either before work or in the evening to say hi.  He can't manage it from work....gubmint monitoring.

Thanks, TD.  Sounds like a nice evening ... it would be great to see him pop in from time to time.

Nice photo, TR, of Mr. Big himself.  Tony, you're looking good! Have fun, post early and post often, so we can vicariously participate in this famed herf.

It's a good thing when Brothers of the Leaf together and have genuinely fine & wholesome time.  I concur with TD, it would be nice to post a group photo.
What's been the lineup of cigars & beverages?
