Title: 2/9/2016
Post by: CigarBanter on February 09, 2016, 12:21:21 AM
It's Tuesday again! In between insults we'll occasionally discuss cigars.  Join in and perhaps learn something along the way. Warning: don't proceed if you have thin skin but don't be afraid to post either...  And welcome aboard!

Hey, bc, how's it going?  You getting much snow up there?
Leo's looking good.  I hit the bid site a week ago & went nuts ... got some pretty good deals, but way more than I needed. Probably would have been better just to buy the one item on CI (on sale) than to try to get it for a little less on the bid site & then go crazy on other "good deals".

Happy Mardi Grasto all of the BOTLs, but especially to those with deep ties to the great state of Louisiana.

Hi Sly. Nice to see you. Very mild winter here in Buffalo. I think were gonna get hit this weekend and be very cold. I picked up some cao flatheads a few weeks back and liked them a lot. I also got some little devils on sale. Not much I really got to have lately. For the right price I will buy though.

I'll go to my B&M in the city and usually buy 1 or 2 sticks and kick back for a bit before work. Other than that just working and paying bills. On Saturdays I'll try and hit the pipe shop. I have been good friends with a pipe maker. He also gets some awesome estate pipes. He lets me put a pipe on lay a way so I can afford nice briars over time. I have an aromatic blend I mix together. I'll smoke this around work. Aside from that I love Virginia/perique/Burley/orientals/Latakia/Kentucky in different proportions.

I believe it was released as a house brand for Famous.

I happened to read an article at the cigar lounge yesterday in Cigar and Spirits on Tobacco based cologne.  Never thought of it before, but a popular ingredient.

Ingredients in perfumes and colognes are an interesting topic to read up on.  As long as you don't have a weak stomach.  some of the things people smear on their bodies...tobacco is probably one of the nicer ones.
