A few years ago, when people were getting sick on the cruse ships, they said the only people that didn't get sick were the ones that had wine with their meals, and the people that drank on the voyage.  They think the alcohol may have killed the stomach virus.  Yesterday I had a very strong pain in the middle of my stomach that lasted 15 hours.  Finally I put about 2 shots of David Nicholson 1843 100 proof over some ice and sipped it.  When that was done, I poured another 2 shots.  I was thinking if I had a virus, it may kill it, or at least help with the pain.  The Whiskey did help with the pain, and I do feel better this morning.  Rather than having the cramping pain this morning, I have more of a sore mussel pain in my stomach.  Now to wait and see if it really helped or not.

Is it too early to start thinking CigarFest 2016?
According to CI, it is. But I imagine the info will be up shortly. It usually is right after the year turns over.
Though, a little birdy tells me it'll be the last 2 days of April.
Something tells me that will be the same time as my daughter's Communion
Hmmm. Unfortunately they probably won't give you the communion date until after the CF tickets have been sold out. Not that it is a big deal whether or not you get to go trick-or-treating for Puros Indios.

That was son's communion. Keep up, old man.

No. She's lazy and if I'm not home to make the kids breakfast they'll starve. I can get a day pass, just not an overnight pass. That's the system we have. It blows. She doesn't.

ah yes. the Sacrament of the 1st Holy Communion.
I often wonder how I would have turned out without Baptism, Communion, Confirmation, Acts of Contricion, Confession, throat blessings, feet washings, Stations of the Cross, rulers across my knuckles, pulled around by my ears by the nuns.

Thought it was agreed that we were going to go straight to Nate's party house?
Well kinda sorta but unless I get divorced before then I already know I'm not spending the night.
Sounds like extra incentive then...
Agreed. It's definitely tempting. But I'd have to win the lottery first. Or live in a cardboard box near Penn Station.
No, win the lottery after ....otherwise she'd take half.

Good to see Manziel was in Vegas following his concussion protocol.  Brownies need to cut their losses and toss him along with the coaching staff.  Jerry Jones may be looking for another looser QB.

The crooks!
Deceptive and sleezy but IFthey show it in stock, you order it and pay for it as they NOW state then they ship promptly and you get it so IMHO not actually crooks.   I may hate the bastards but I will take them up on great deals as long as that all occurs.

I got 2 items in my CI cart now and $40 worth of rebate gift cards to pay with.

CI has mostly crap offers anymore but I don't think they operate too sleezy at all.  Famous and The Page are the deceptive sleez of the industry, and of course Thompson but who cares about them.

Not sure which would be more difficult to get but I do have a old OOO I could smoke which is his favorite.  Plenty of worn out old women around this neighborhood so that is always a possibility I guess.

I think that's racist.
I didn't call anyone anything....think you need to go back to your safe place for a while.
After being home with the family so much during the holidays, work IS my safe place. ;)
+1 except I'm working from home today because I have an appointment in an hour. So I'm really looking forward to tomorrow.
I am working from home because my elevator did not go to the top this morning. :)
If that's the only requirement, enjoy your early retirement! ;)

Tat Lancero's are back in stock on The Page  ???  Go Figger but I just bought 2 and got a confirmation.
The crooks!
Deceptive and sleezy but IFthey show it in stock, you order it and pay for it as they NOW state then they ship promptly and you get it so IMHO not actually crooks.   I may hate the bastards but I will take them up on great deals as long as that all occurs.
You might be even persuaded to do that at CI, if the deal is good enough.
I got 2 items in my CI cart now and $40 worth of rebate gift cards to pay with.

CI has mostly crap offers anymore but I don't think they operate too sleezy at all.  Famous and The Page are the deceptive sleez of the industry, and of course Thompson but who cares about them.
Almost lost my gift card. Forgot to look through the box when the cigars came in. Threw the cigars in the humidor and the box on the recycle pile.

Edit: Lucky for me the garbage/recycling schedule was all screwed up because of the holidays.

SHEESH!
It's 'cause Cheapy Cheapo Bean still putzin' with his bathroom DIY project.
Not tonight.  The warden is in there painting. So GFY.
Let me quests - pink?  Evening Mark.  She doesn't trust with the painting?
It's a beige color, though I'm sure there is a fancier name for it.  And no, she does not, which is fine with me.  Plus she's putting some kind of artistic texturing on the walls.  Like I could ever get that right.
Like I tell the warden "It's just a wall".  Like you're gonna pend a whole lotta time looking at a bathroom wall.  Amright?
She thinks we're going to have tours or something.  I'll just be happy when it's done, if that's even possible.
Maybe she knows something that you don't ???
No schitt.  She'll divorce me, sell the house, and I'll go live with Tony in that cardboard box at Penn Station.
It's kinda roomy.
Maybe before you and I cram our generously proportioned selves in there.  We should get a double-wide, in case one of the Daves decides to visit.  We can all go dumpster diving together.
Sounds like a great plan.
Visit Oxford at the end of the college school year.  Great dumpster diving.  Just gotta beat the trailer park trash though before they get all the good stuff.  They literally cruise the streets for the week after school lets out for the summer.

Decent, but relatively common Nica Rustica deal up, $25/5.  Can be had for less on the bid if you like to play that game.
$5 if you have a gift card to use.

I like it.  So many Daves, we would have to turn many away otherwise.  Can't have a disappointed Dave (TNWSS).

After our equipment we send down to Mexico is uncrated, entire new villages are born around the factories.

I'll probably be back up that way late Feb.  I'm putting my 60 deg sunshine order in now.
