Senior Personal Ads
-------------------------

Some 'Senior' personal ads seen in 'The Villages''  Florida newspapers:

(Who says seniors don't have a sense of humor?)

FOXY LADY:
Sexy, fashion-conscious blue-haired beauty,
80's, slim, 5'4' (used to be 5'6'),
searching for sharp-looking, sharp-dressing companion.
Matching white shoes and
belt a plus.

LONG-TERM COMMITMENT:
Recent widow who has just buried fourth husband,
and am looking for someone to round out a six-unit plot.
Dizziness, fainting, shortness of breath not a problem.

SERENITY NOW:
I am into solitude, long walks, sunrises, the ocean, yoga and meditation.
If you are the silent type, let's get together,
take our hearing aids out and enjoy quiet times.

WINNING SMILE:
Active grandmother with original teeth seeking a dedicated flosser
to share rare steaks, corn on the cob and caramel candy.

BEATLES OR STONES?
I still like to rock,
still like to cruise in my Camaro on Saturday nights and still like to play the guitar.
If you were a groovy chick, or are now a groovy hen,
let's get together and listen to my eight-track tapes.

MEMORIES:
I can usually remember Monday through Thursday.
If you can remember Friday, Saturday and Sunday, let's put our two heads together.

MINT CONDITION:
Male, 1932, high mileage, good condition, some hair,
many new parts including hip, knee, cornea, valves.
Isn't in running condition, but walks well.

They have to be as good as the 10pk for 10.00 from CI but they are good to give out at Christmas time to the people I give cigars to in the wife's family that only smoke cigars when I give them to them, this year I got three of the 40ct humidor and 10 cigar deals from CI for 19.99 to give them, cigars were crap but they won't know the difference anyway.

But I don't shop online expecting to receive good cigar information, online shopping for most things is all about price, availability  and nothing else.

Personally I have just about no use for B&M's beyond an occasional single cigar purchase to try something different or purchase an exclusive offering, by the way I read this week somebody, Tat I think it was, is ending those store exclusives.

How goes it, Sam and LTG?
It goes well, my friend. Counting down the minutes to my Xmas break, you know?
Today is my last day until Tuesday. Christmas Eve is at my house and we've got 25 people coming. So plenty to do before tomorrow.
Lucky for us, we're only going places for Xmas Eve/Xmas. Takes a lot of pressure off, when all you have to do is show up and eat and drink.
Plus I'm not a good host. I can't fake having fun while running around like a chicken with its head cut off.
Enough wine, and I can make believe I give a shit....

We're doing Christmas Eve at my mom's house this year.  seems like Christmas Eve is the bigger "get together" holiday than Christmas, which is fine with me.
Here too. We're going out to a restaurant for Christmas.
I bought a standing rib roast for Christmas dinner.  Wife was planning on just making a Penne with vodka sauce, after a nice antipasto selection.  Put the kaboosh on that real quick. Yes, we can have all that, but a roast too!
Excellent choice!
My warden doesn't like Prime Rib, so I think she is hoping for the Bumpus's dogs to come in and get it. Then there was the "who is going to cook it, are you going to stand by the stove all day taking care of it.  My response, "It's a fucking roast, you put it on a pan in the oven for some time, nobody has to do anything while it is cooking. "

Indeed. Santa loves booze and cigars... cookies and milk are an old wives' tale!

Morning, Bret. Haven't had any luck with your BH request so far. There were some robusto 5ers on the bid yesterday, but that's about it for "deals". They'll come eventually.... wait for it... wait for it...

It is quite the challenge. I think the Jam offering is Robustos as well... 5/$27 or something like that. 5ers on the Bid went for $15. Believe they had a dozen lots.
