hmmmmm. lady showed up a bit ago, headed for the bedroom, and told me to wake her in an hour. no hug, hello or nothing.
When she wakes up, I suggest an angry pirate
Is that when you place your balls over one of her eyes to make her look like a pirate or is that the finger up the ass...  I get those confused...  Oh, good morning too all...

Good morning, fellas.
good morning Tony.
Howdy, Deano. How's the concrete business treating ya?
keeping me busy and in cigar money. 10 hour day netted me a grand minus paying my helper. he got $100 from me for a few hours work. he kept up with me and I didn't have to explain everything over and over. one more driveway Jan 4 and repair the shuffleboard court to level slab for a trailer/new park office. they brought in 10 new trailer (junk) that will get dressed up and need slabs poured for screen rooms eventually.

2 - Room 101 '808' San Andres (6" x 60) - $79.23
Is it always boxes?  or do they mix it up during the day?
Varies, 5ers and 10s are frequent.
May stay all boxes today?
I haven't shopped for a while, so I could be wrong, but these don't seem like much of deals up to this point...
Give it a little more time.  TWHS.
Got alllll day, and a $50.00 gift card in the mail last night.  I don't see any reason I shouldn't buy some cigars today!

No way I'm going to keep up with this thing....

Things Dean might say for $100...
What is "Does this thong make my ass look fat?"

Two incorrect answers for this one:

1. No. I think it's just your ass.
2. There's a thong in there?

Good morning, fellas.
good morning Tony.
Howdy, Deano. How's the concrete business treating ya?
keeping me busy and in cigar money. 10 hour day netted me a grand minus paying my helper. he got $100 from me for a few hours work. he kept up with me and I didn't have to explain everything over and over. one more driveway Jan 4 and repair the shuffleboard court to level slab for a trailer/new park office. they brought in 10 new trailer (junk) that will get dressed up and need slabs poured for screen rooms eventually.
Sweet. Cigar money is always good.

Morning everyone!  Another long day of doing a whole lot of nothing in the office lined up!  Too bad we cant smoke in here.
Who'll give you a ticket?
Internal tickets are usually pink and come with a free, unpaid, vacation day...not so much into get those kinds of vacation, if ya know what I mean.
I understand. I guess then you'll have to suffer without a smoke like the rest of us who are working.

Good morning to you and Steve, by the way.
I will say that is one thing I miss about patrol.  Slow night shifts full of cigars and shenanigans.
When cops talk about shenanigans, I get nervous.  ;-)

Morning, muchachos.

When I was on the train last night, resigned to miss the AJ Fernandez event at The Cigar Shack, my daughter called.  Her movie night at school was over, where should she pick me up? Got to the event a half hour after it had begun. Buy five cigars, get two free. left with various sizes of original New Worlds, and two Enclave toros. was about to light a New world, and Brad/Denali, said put that away, got something special for you.  It was a well aged Mayimbe figurado.  Seems these were from a special batch that A J made for him. Had over a year in the humidor. Glad the B&M had an event / Christmas party last night. One of my best smokes ever.  Oh and they had food & drink too!  Good morning boys.

Sounds pretty good for someone that was seemingly resigned to just having a smoke at the legion... quite the upgrades.

Does your vacation day expire at the end of the year or roll over? No brainer if it just goes unused.

I used to hold a couple extra days as a "just in case" scenario and the company would reimburse for all unused days at the end of the year. Now, they no longer offer that buy back so it's use it or lose it. Needless to say, I make sure I use them all now.

Ya got a better chance of not getting shot sitting at your desk though.
This is the truth.  It isn't a 100% desk job, there is quite a bit of serving warrants and stuff.  However, I am not driving around in a target all day anymore, which is nice.
And a hot, glamorous detective babe as a partner, with sexy, young criminal biatches to cuff, just like on TV, right?
...and guns that never run out of bullets, and tailored suits, and databases that will instantly locate any bad guy anywhere complete with pictures...

My vacation renews on my anniversary date each year (Nov 1).  I just got 4 weeks and anything unused will roll over when my new vacation comes in next year.

Indeed, we have a pretty quality vacation system.  We also get 364 days of sick leave per year.  Great if something happens and keeps ya out for an extended period of time.  Terrible when ya have a shitbag on your shift who abuses it.

Speaking of Alec Bradley, if you have not tried the Raices, I suggest giving one a shot.  I smoked a few at the B&M, then bought a box off of the devil.  The go GREAT with a Anchor Steam Beer from the Anchor Brewery.

I'll be at the office... Bantering, if that helps.
You've talked me into it....
Vacation day submitted!!! ;D
GFY! Twice!
HAHAHA
, I'll take it!
If he could do that, he'd never leave the house.
Wait, do I get credit for this morning?  or is this an after post only type credit?

I don't think it has gotten further south than Connecticut.  If you ever eat at a Ninety Nine Restaurant, they don't serve it anymore, just checked their menus.  Lots of Regional foods, like a Rutts Hutt Riper, or an Italian Hot dog (fried dogs, chunks of fried potatoes, peppers and onions on Pizza bread.  from Newark.

I'm intimately familiar with Rutt's Hut. I used to live on wellers. Not sure I understand the connection with your canned bread though.

First time anyone has recapped the scorcher site.  Howdy Cam.
I don't mind it though. Howdy, Chip.

I've put them up as single deals. Never as a nice list like this. Too much copy/paste to keep up with most times.

The Jam is much easier to post up, but then you have to look at Warpigs for 2 hours...

I don't copy and paste, I hit "quote", the delete the tope line and bottom line and it shows as a new post.

I think last Thursday when there was a Jam/Scorcher the same day it was like 50 deals vs. 8 or so
Yeah, CI needs to refine the Jam.  When it was the only thing it wasn't bad.  Now Cigar.com has the sprint sale, the scorcher, and there is an all day mash damn near everyday

Say just wondering, any other areas of the country have this in the supermarkets, besides Northern New England?
I know canned brown bread, the next best thing to sliced beer.  8)  It is a staple with hardy hot dog and baked bean dinner.
Never even heard of it before now.

You get outside Northern new jersey, and people say, what do you mean, deep fried hot dogs. I grew up in NYC, hot dogs were boiled or grilled, (or cooked on those metal rollers! ::) )

I haven't. Been reshipping me the Xikar. Twice in about 4-5 years. My brother uses a Colibri grip type like the Xikar. Think it's a Diesel logo version. He said he liked it pretty well and it's got some weight too it. Can't really say about how the sharp stands up, 'cause he smokes about 1-2 a month... probably still has the manufacturer edge still on it

I met with Chip in Baton Rouge one night and he had that V-cutter.  Then next day I ordered me one.  In June this year I got about 3 times as drunk as I should have and lost that bastard.  It's the 3rd Xikar cutter I have lost, but by far the best of the 3.  Loved that thing.
