lady just showed up to pack for camping trip. she's been sick for two days now. I have all my stuff, cooking stuff, meats, linens, towels, etc. she just has to figure out what clthes she'll need and canned goods. not going to be a fun day.

I can at least stay away and smoke cigars and drink coffee.
Doesn't she just buy the clothes on the road?
no! she is a VERY frugal country girl. I tried to tell her to make sure she has clothes, towels, and toiletries BEFORE we sort food stuffs. she is so sick she can't think.

4.25" of rain now.

Longhorns are going to be mighty wet at 11:00.

F1 qualifying at 1:00 is still on but may be cancelled.  Since over half the already limited track parking is grass and can't be used for the race tomorrow that will be hell.

Did y'all know there was a jam going on?
Yep but not much excitement to it
There looked to have been some decent items.  I think we're gonna have to face that prices aren't what they used to be.  Compared to B&M pricing, I guess it's not too bad.
A few decent things but no deals for sure, but they are sure all trying to drive prices up.

No sir.  One more football game (cheerleading) to go.  On my way in 15 minutes.

And I'll get to really test out the bum knee during the next game because I have to walk up and down the stands for the first half selling 50/50 tickets.

I agree Tony, but I don't think that will ever be accepted around here.

Sounds like he's trying to aggravate it on purpose to work a few more days from home next week.

We won 25-6 in the end.  Finally home after a long day and looking for some din-din.  No cigars tonight, I'm frozen solid and need to thaw out.

I'm tempted by these Retro Especials.  I need some milder smokes.
