Five years ago: Thousands of cheering Catholic schoolchildren feted Pope Benedict XVI on his second day in Britain, offering a boisterous welcome, as the pontiff urged their teachers to make sure to provide a trusting, safe environment. A scientist and his wife who once worked at a top-secret U.S. nuclear laboratory were arrested after an FBI sting operation and charged with conspiring to help develop a nuclear weapon for Venezuela. (After pleading guilty, Pedro Leonardo Mascheroni was sentenced to five years in federal prison while his wife, Marjorie Roxby Mascheroni, received a year and a day; the U.S. government has never alleged that Venezuela or anyone actually working for it had sought U.S. secrets.)

The Devil
-------------------------

A priest was preparing a man for his long journey into the night.

Whispering firmly, the priest said, "Denounce the devil! Let him know how little you think of his evil."

The dying man said nothing.

The priest repeated his order. Still the dying man said nothing.

The priest asked, "Why do you refuse to denounce the devil and his evil?"

The dying man said, "Until I know where I'm heading, I don't think I ought to aggravate anybody."

(which is pretty much reflected in the price)  JdN Red is much better.

I am using that stay at home time to get out earlier than I otherwise could, will get retirement pay  credit for 8 months of service with my sick leave and paid for 6 weeks vacation time when I leave.
but then you could be working full time at mowing the lawn, and taking care of the pool.  Besides, where could you go for abuse(above & beyond, that which is doled out here! 8) )
Good morning boys...

good morning guys. took 'the grandson' to school and was on my way to crawl into bed with the lady, but her son showed up and I had to settle for coffee. just took the kayaks off the trailer so we can haul more plants to Bronson.

@TexDave, 190+ days until retirement? it'll drag by and then you'll find yourself sitting outside one day and wonder where the time went. I have 190+ days to plan my trip to Texas to have a retirement cigar with you. looking forward to it.

Safe enough.  A new exec that they've been grooming for over a year resigned yesterday.  That should muddy the waters enough to delay layoffs for a bit.  What a clusterfuck!

I did not watch it because a) it was not a debate   and  b) it was a total scripted made for tv set-up by CNN

I happened to get up to my room and turned on the TV for a bit before going to sleep, the debate was on and I got the last half hour or so.  Big mistake.  It was like 11 BD's talking car purchase.

Way back in aught nine there was a HU Banker part of a long string of Banker releases.  Hell of a lot of seegars in a mere six years.  More than half the cigars out there weren't even around.  Maybe more.
