Indeed, cause they don't have the infrastructure down there to handle stuff like that. I have a friend in GA who was stuck in his car on the highway for like 12 hours several years ago when they had a bad ice storm. Had no way to clear it.

Indeed, cause they don't have the infrastructure down there to handle stuff like that. I have a friend in GA who was stuck in his car on the highway for like 12 hours several years ago when they had a bad ice storm. Had no way to clear it.
Not much can be done with ice....They have done better with equipment for main roads and salt/brine application, but almost nothing on secondarys. Plus, just like up north, when you have people out driving in it and get into wrecks, the roads can't be maintained.
