Went to two football games last night. Watched the first one for the first half and my son's marching band halftime show. Then drove 20 miles to the second game to see their halftime show and the second half of my other sons's varsity game. Got to see his debut on special teams when they kicked off for the second half. Unfortunately, that was the only punt for the rest of that game. They lost 2-34. JV game will be Monday.

Sounds like quite the adventure.

Lots of ubering here this morning. My son had football practice at 6:45 and then he offered rides to half his team. His teammates live all over the county.

What are the chances that we won't be playing the birthday game again today?

Brakes done. Took about 2 hours, probably saved myself $300-400.

Funny story - I had my flashlight sitting in the wheel well under the front bumper to see behind the wheel. When I was done, I took it around the neighborhood for a few minutes to make sure everything was right. Got back, couldn't find the flashlight. I think you know where this is going.

Not only still there, but still on, pointng at the wheel. Lol

Then, we had three parties. There's one more pickup at 10 and it's about 30 minutes away.

That wouldn't work if you were purposely trying to do it.
