I thought I was going to be commuting today since my laptop was seemingly dead after the Windows 11 update. I could hear the fan running and the unit was hotter than the sun. Somehow, after leaning on the power button for about 5 minutes, it finally shutdown. I let it cool, and when I restarted, the update completed successfully. The bottom line is that I'll be able to work remotely, as originally planned.Sheesh. We're also in the process of getting new laptops with the Windows update. Haven't gotten mine yet, but it's been a real slog for those who have so far.

But the youngest also gets out at 4 from volleyball practice. So middle kid will get to work a bit early and youngest will have to wait around a bit for me to get back there.
