being 63 and not in bad shape but the bikerlady wanted to work on her upper body so it's something to do to spend more time with her. she did complain that my pecs were more defined than her breasts and she wanted to firm up. I doubt she'll firm up much at 65 but what do I know.

I asked that same question and "gym" is not exactly what you are probably thinking of as a "gym", also you have to remember the little head is making all the decisions. :)  It is some outdoor exercise equipment at the community center or something like that..  I would guess there are some sexy seniors there to work out with.  More like Dean is going to the playground.

And their Muffy Sandwich will miss the proper bread too.  Hmm some warm Redfish Grill chocolate bread pudding would sure be good.
I've had it, but I'm not crazy about chocolate in bread pudding.

I do like Pappadeaux's bread pudding with whiskey sauce, though.  Not exactly authentic, but dynamite.
Pappadeaux's is ok.  But Redfish Grill is the best I know of and their chocolate bread pudding is to die for.
I agree with Raz, chocolate in the bread pudding is a bit too much for me....just like chocolate pecan pie...
You guys are sick sick sick.
Just not a huge fan of chocolate.  Bread pudding is about cinnamon, sugar, vanilla, and nutmeg.

CHRISTIE AT THE BAT...   Fine looking speciman for a baseball governor you Joisey Boiz have got there.
Gotta be careful there, he made good on a promise to show up and play a charity softball game to benefit the families of 3 slain NYPD Officers. Flew-in himself and his family to make sure he was there
Better than the Washington folks who only seem to send reps to the funerals of the dead urban hoods.
Only because he wants to be a Washington Folk.
Listen, I'm not a political defender by any stretch but Christie has always been a good guy that way. He'll embarrass himself for charity if need be
The problem is when he embarrasses himself and it's not for charity.

Yeah, seems that way but he is our ex-governor now.    May or may not be the best choice but for damn sure he is not the worst!
Of course not, there is always Christie from NJ!

Morning Chip, Dave, Fishy, Flip and Dean.
Morning CA Dave.   Going home day?
Yes sir I am.  Back next week then two weeks in Jersey!
Sounds like an NJ herf is in order
Just name the date.
So we have the weeks of 6/15 and 6/22 to choose from?
that is correct sir.
So Thur 6/18 or 6/25 seem to be the dates that typically will work. We'll wait for Tony to come out of his pasta-induced coma to chime in
can I suggest JR's in Whippany, really nice room plus it has a bar, oh wait, bring your own booze A&E might be less expensive.

@ Travellin Dave - Ya'll don't like old folks?

End of an era: Clemson fires Jack Leggett
CLEMSON – It is indeed possible for the aging legend, the stubborn competitor, the Hall of Fame coach to simultaneously be celebrated and deprecated.
I've been waiting for that....last couple of seasons have been real inconsistent, made it into the NCAA's both years but lost the first two games.  Great guy, but ya gotta win.  Of course who are they going to get that's better?  Heck, FSU showed Bowden the door...

Pretty hard to say goodbye to this:

Jack Leggett’s illustrious 22 years as Clemson’s head baseball coach has come to an end.

Clemson athletic director Dan Radakovich decided Thursday to part ways with the hall of fame Leggett, who’s been at the helm of one of nation’s top-10 winningest programs since 1994.

“This decision was not an easy one,” Radakovich said. “Jack Leggett has served this institution with distinction for 24 years, the last 22 as head coach. It’s fair to say Clemson baseball has been competitive over the last few years, but our objective is success, defined by competing for ACC Championships and winning in the NCAA Tournament. I have high expectations – and I know our fans and student-athletes have great expectations – for our baseball program.”

Pitching coach Dan Pepicelli, who's been on Leggett's staff since 2010, was also fired, according to a source.

The Tigers are coming off a 32-29 record and their second consecutive season of going 0-2 in the NCAA Tournament. They’re just 1-6 in their last three regional appearances and haven’t advanced to the Super Regionals or the College World Series since 2010.

The Clemson AD instituted several stipulations for Leggett last summer in an effort to improve the program, but the 2015 squad was .500 halfway through the season and became the last team to earn an NCAA tourney at-large bid after winning eight of its last 11 games.

Combined with the fact that the program has only reached 40 wins once in the last four seasons, it wasn’t enough; Leggett’s Clemson career ends with a record of 964-480-1. He went to 21 NCAA postseasons, won 10 regionals and advanced to six College World Series since taking over for the late Bill Wilhelm in 1994.

“Jack has meant so much over the last 22 years as a head coach at Clemson that I could not do justice to his impact on our program,” Radakovich said. “His contributions as an assistant to a Hall of Fame coach in Bill Wilhelm followed by becoming a Hall of Fame Coach himself speak to his achievements. Many players have been beneficiaries of Jack’s leadership and service, and for that Clemson will always be grateful.

“Clemson Baseball is a premier brand and positioned to compete for championships in the near future. Following the great work of Coaches Wilhelm and Leggett, this is a program that will build upon a solid foundation. And I know we’re going to find the right coach to continue the tradition of excellence we all expect.”

Leggett leaves behind one of the ACC’s most notable legacies. He ranks fifth nationally among active coaches in career victories. He’s coached 33 All-Americans and 116 players who went on to be drafted (11 in the first round) or sign pro contracts. Twenty-nine of those have gone on to play in the big leagues.

His coaching tree has produced 10 active head coaches, including Florida’s Kevin O’Sullivan and defending champion Vanderbilt coach Tim Corbin.

Clemson will be looking for just its third coach since 1957. Candidates to replace Leggett could include O’Sullivan, TCU’s Jim Schlossnagle, College of Charleston’s Monte Lee and West Virginia’s Randy Mazey, among others.

I don't see O'Sullivan leaving  FL, TCU coach would be a good catch, CofC is good and Clemson could likely increase his pay substantially  and there is nothing good in West Virginia.

Worst restaurant meals for 2015:

http://www.cnbc.com/id/102729796

Red Lobster topped the list with its "Create Your Own Combination" dish. The combination of Parrot Isle Jumbo Coconut Shrimp, Walt's Favorite Shrimp, and Shrimp Linguine Alfredo, Caesar salad, French fries, and one Cheddar Bay Biscuit add up to 2,710 calories and four days' worth of sodium at 6,530 milligrams.

Anything at Red Lobster besides those damn cheese biskit things could qualify for the worst ever as long as they were not competing with themselves.  Oh they are talking worst healthy, well that is an accomplishment for Red Lobster they managed to make it taste like chit and be unhealthy.

So, from torrential rain and flooding to dry and oven baked? Sucky.

It's been raining almost every afternoon here for about 2 weeks. Looking to get some relief this weekend. Shrubs are bending to the ground with the rapid growth. Should be a fun time of pruning and grass cutting for me.  ::)

You get that mud all mowed up, or still too hot?
Around here, are you kidding???   Mud is long gone I mowed and dust flying everywhere, can't even tell it has rained.

That is the way it works here but at least our lake is close to full.   We broke all kinds of records including the most rainfall in any single month and the most consectutive days with rainfall at 34.  Have only hit 90  two  times this year though and normally we are steady in the mid 90's after mid may and often hit the low 100's by now.  We had more rain in May than in the entire year 2011.

It's suppose to rain today, and tomorrow, so I'm going to put off cutting the grass.  Besides my grass is at the 1/2 full, 1/2 empty stage.

We were in the same shape with the drought here a few years back. Lake levels were down big time. Had all of So.Alabama commies defending the mussels with the thought of GA shutting the waterflow down. So, yeah. You want the rain to fill the lakes back up, but you don't want it all in a month... just rolls off the top.

Shit, I'll trade you the entire Braves bullpen for a new coach. Local sports buzz word of the month... Implosion!

I changed the inline ice filter on my frig yesterday. Then I thought, I'll dump all of the ice so it can make fresh ice.  I dumped all of the ice onto the ground outside, and when I got up the next morning the grass was all white.  I could have understood if the grass wilted, but it looked like some one painted the grass white...?

@ Travellin Dave - Ya'll don't like old folks?

End of an era: Clemson fires Jack Leggett
CLEMSON – It is indeed possible for the aging legend, the stubborn competitor, the Hall of Fame coach to simultaneously be celebrated and deprecated.
I've been waiting for that....last couple of seasons have been real inconsistent, made it into the NCAA's both years but lost the first two games.  Great guy, but ya gotta win.  Of course who are they going to get that's better?  Heck, FSU showed Bowden the door...
A few good small collge coaches out there to consider, MO State, Coastal Carolina and College of Charleston.

Agree there.  Also think Coastal Carolina would be good to add to the mix.

Here's a fine choice:

Imagine chowing down on an eight-piece bucket of KFC Original Recipe fried chicken, four sides of mashed potatoes with gravy, four pieces of corn on the cob, and eight packets of buttery spread—all by yourself.

It takes a lot to shock the nutritionists at the Center for Science in the Public Interest who compile the annual Xtreme Eating Awards. But this year they found a single restaurant meal that’s the nutritional equivalent of that KFC binge. Red Lobster’s “Create Your Own Combination” delivers 2,710 calories, and four days’ worth of sodium (6,530 milligrams), if you choose the Parrot Isle Jumbo Coconut Shrimp, Walt’s Favorite Shrimp, and Shrimp Linguine Alfredo to go with the Caesar salad, French fries, and one Cheddar Bay Biscuit. But wait, there’s more!
Wash down that combo with the Lobsterita—the chain’s trademarked 890-calorie, 24-ounce margarita—and the meal reaches 3,600 calories, enough calories for today and most of tomorrow.

What goes good with boneless chicken wings...?

beer... and hot sauce
I'm trying to come up with some thing for supper.  I don't feel like going anywhere, but those Wendy's Strawberry Chicken Salads sound pretty good...!
Boneless chickens are cruel. Dean would call them deadbeats because they can't support themselves... ba-dum-dum
No, I beg to disagree.  Dean would buy them a cell phone and add them to his plan while WE call them deadbeats.

Good afternoon/evening ahead, just have a bit longer to get to it than you guys do.

Head to the airport and stop at Churchills Cigar lounge to let traffic clear....20+ beer choices there, then to the airport with dinner and a beer at either the Stone Brewing or Phil's BBQ with local drafts...pretty much a win/win...then I get to go home.

Exactly the point i was presenting.  I am so f'kn sick and damn tired of mostly bogus so called celebrity bullshit taking over the news.  There are pedofiles in every neighborhood in America and nobody much gives a fook but let one be a public figure that none of them even know and it is all important.
