The Hole
-------------------------

The boss ordered one of his men to dig a hole eight feet deep. After
the job was completed the boss returned and explained an error had
been made and the hole wouldn't be needed. "Fill 'er up," he ordered.

The worker did as he'd been told. But he ran into a problem. He
couldn't get all the dirt packed back into the hole without leaving a
mound on top. He went to the office and explained his problem.

The boss snorted. "Honestly! The kind of help you get these days! There's obviously only
one thing to do. You'll have to dig that hole deeper!"

You have to teach your fellow Texans about asking for the rain and asking for it to stop because you just might get what you asked for.

Honestly I don't think this area could have made it through the summer without significant rains.  We were very close to running out of water so have to take the bad with the good.

Good morning gents, just a quick check-in before breakfast.
Morning Shaun. Enjoying your second week on the job?  Or you still "training"?
Hey Mark - still in training mode in Sioux Falls, granted I will training be for the next 6-12months.  Very different business, but my manager was upfront with me about the complexities.  It's good she doesn't expect me to be an expert out of the gate
Good to hear she has taken you under her wing grasshopper.  Wonder what her other lessons will be.
My imagination has been wondering ;)  She seems like a great manager, time will tell, but everyone on the team really likes her.
That is exactly what got Dean evicted so put your imaginagion back in your pants and zip it!
LALTS!  It's bad, manager is cute and so is the other coworker - I'll keep it contained, I do have self control, unlike Dean's "unit" :)
It's still early in the game.  Better get some EPC 2nd's on order, I see shenanigan's in your future.
Yeah, he will be Kayaking pretty soon.

Rained on me coming to work this morning so guess not but we are mostly getting small scattered showers and thunderstorms rather than giant ones that drop 3-6"  of rain over a few hours.

Good enough that I just added two 5-paks to my cart.  Hair of the Dog is one of the better Diesel's IMHO.

If you happen to find a good jam item you can really get a good deal with the code, El Centurians would be $88/box shipped
I combined with non-jam and got 5 Tat Miami's and 10 SL Lancero's for $82 FS.  Holding up to click submit in case another nice eligible Jam offer comes along.
Those lanceros are nice, very good combo there

I said I wasn't going to buy anything, but I spent my $99 (actually $115.)  I wanted to try a Diesel Sampler, and even thou I haven't tried the Hair of the Dog, I picked some of those at $11.92.  I've also wanted to try the Arturo Fuente 8-5-8 Maduros, so got some of those.  And I know no one wants to here about the Tabak Especial Café, but I got a bunch of those.  It looks like they also tossed in a Rockwell Lighter too (had to click on the icon when checking out.)  Well, time for some yard work before it starts raining for the next few days.  Later.

I've got several within a few block radius of here.  I had never been to this particular one before today.  I went with some sort of beef stew.  Some of my more unadventurous colleagues went with shish kabob.

I don't recall ever even seeing a Persian restaurant.
I've got several within a few block radius of here.  I had never been to this particular one before today.  I went with some sort of beef stew.  Some of my more unadventurous colleagues went with shish kabob.
"some sort of beef" stew.  Might as well just eat a hot dog.
Might as well.

Afternoon, men.  Dodging pop-up thunderstorms here.  Coffee with an Ambos Mundos on fire.
Hi Bean... I'm waiting for the thunderstorm to start here too.  It was supposed to be here by 2 O'clock, but it appears to be a little late.  Hopefully I can finish cutting the grass before it starts.
You might have better luck cutting the grass if you were not fuk'n off on the banter. :)
I cut grass for 10 min. then take a 20 min. break.  So bantering is all in my schedule.

Had a few minutes after a follow-up appointment from my back surgery, stopped for a Victory @ Sea
Part of the rehab?
Its certainly working, what brings you here? Out burning one?
Yep, smoking an Intemperance, RoMa Craft event.
Ive loved every Intemperence I've ever smoked
Started with the connie, figured it was a beginning point. Very smooth so far, just the right amount of spiciness.
NJDave gave me a Connie at the CFest house and I really enjoyed it
Sounds like everybody gave you a Connie there, Nate, Golf and now Dave too?
Hey, I kept my corona to myself.
Fish was highly complimentary saying you shared your Robusto !
Robusto? Shit, I'll take that compliment all day!

So the computer is working better I take it?
I had to get a new one....  I do like it thou.  I tried to fix the old one, it needed a new hard drive.  I installed the backup OS, and it fired right up. But when I went into the device drivers they all had errors.  Driver not signed with Windows 7 error code 52..  I searched on the internet and there are 100's if no 1000's of people with the same error, and I can't find one answer to correct it.  I put Ubuntu onto a flash drive and fired it up and it works fine.  I may have to install Ubuntu and forget Windows 7.

I sure do like the call blocker feature on my phone.  Except the other day the incoming caller ID had my name and phone number.  So I thought I'd better pick it up and see what I wanted.  Wouldn't you know it was a sales call...!  Then the next day I receive a call that says, "Alert..!"  It looked like an Amber Alert, which I some times get, so I picked it up too.  Another salesman...!  So it's nice to see the call blocker feature work from time to time..

Possum maybe but coons are much too clean and high class for that ride.  Now let's see, how many Fuk-ups can one little trailer bring with it?

Looks like a set of front tires and wheels off of a farm tractor on it.

My script got effed up so my automated flip is back to the drawing board.  I apologize in advance for the the hokey flip for the next several days.  Just banter on no matter what the subject line says.
That's OK, Mr. Mayor, just makes life all that more amusing.  (I'm easily amused).
We come here to be insulted and amused.

In my experience that is a short lived pleasantness, followed by "hell hath no fury..." etc.  But good luck with that!

Just watched a tv show about it.  Really cool but really rugged.  Would loved to travel it 20 years ago but I am not that rugged anymore.

Only if you buy 4 of them.  I would have answered sooner but believe it or not, I just got off of a work call.
