Tough Back Nine
-------------------------

Bob and his three golf buddies were out playing and were just starting on the back nine when Bob paused, looked down the fairway and began to sob uncontrollably.

The other three gathered around him and asked:  "What's wrong?"

Bob looked down at his feet, sniffed and dried his eyes some, then apologized for his emotional outburst.  "Im sorry, I always get emotional at this hole - it holds very difficult memories for me."

One of his buddies asked, "What happened? What could have gotten you so upset?"

Bob stared silently off in the distance, then said in a low voice,
"This is where my wife and I were playing 12 years ago when
she suddenly died of a heart attack; right at this very hole."

"Oh my God", the other golfers said. "That must have been horrible!"

"Horrible?!  You think it`s horrible?"  Bob continued still very distressed.  "It was worse than that!  Every hole for the rest of
the day, all the way back to the clubhouse it was hit the ball, drag Alice, hit the ball, drag Alice..."

Analysis says Mexicans feel more respected during sex

Do Mexicans do it better? A website recently analyzed sexual satisfaction data from the condom company Durex and came up with a couple of top contenders for countries with the most sexually satisfied population. Mexico and Nigeria led the rest of the pack, one of the reasons, states Vox.com, is that Mexicans may feel more respected during intercourse.

Some horrible stories down there around San Marcus, those two families staying in a vacation place that washed away with them in it is awful.   Found one of the men 12 miles down the river seriously injured but will recover.  The other 8 that includes 3 children under age 10 have not been found.  Obviously they could not have survived.

saw that picture of the Houston Galleria Mall.  many years ago, when I took a job with Tricord

I go downstairs at home for that.  When we redid the basement, wife wanted a hair station
just off the laundry room.  Hair sink, barber chair, and a nice mirror.  Of course since it's so easy
only get haircuts about 5 times a year.  shoemaker's kids run around barefoot.  Or if we are going
someplace her family or mine can see me, then I get a haircut.

Morning, all.  Chiming in on my haircuts... not sure why I still pay to get it done, just a #1 all the way around. Sometimes no guard in the summers.  Been tempted to shave it completely but feel like that'd be even more of a pain in the ass than somewhat regular cuts, whether it's done at a shop or at home.

I've never really cared about hair loss, which mine is definitely thinning.. or going gray, which I am in the sides when it grows in... whatever.  Looks better than trying to cover it up with jet black hair dye.  Morning, Dave.

I'll keep all my hair into my 70's, if I live that long.  Maybe into my 90's like my Spotswood ancestors - God forbid I live that long.  The payback is that it started going slowly gray when I was in my 20's.  In ten years, I'll likely be totally white-haired.  Morning, Joe.

Morning, Bret.  I've always been amazed at how insecure people can be about their hair.  Bald, grey, whatever.  It looks 'natural' either way.  The crazies are the ones with comb overs and super dark hair, even though their skin shows that they're clearly well in to their 60s or 70s.  You're not fooling anyone, lol.

Early shift is out, on to the evening!
I've been staring at my monitor for several hours straight.  My eyes are about to bug out of my head.  I'm ready to light a cigar and call it a day.
I am home fixing to select one to light.
I won't be able to leave for a bit.  Have to finish up first.  If all goes well, I'll leave at 5 sharp.
LP Undercrown cut.

Just received a text that trains are about 60 minutes delayed due to power issues at Penn Station.  Joy.

There is a storm overhead.  No rain yet but very ominous.

Was able to catch a train, which is a miracle on to itself.  Made it to my connection which is extremely late.  It's pouring rain now but I don't expect any sympathy from my Texas BotL.

Not at all.  Finally home though.  Just walked through the door.  Got about 2/3 through my V before boarding the train.  Overall I'd have to admit it was a successful day.
