It's Tuesday again! In between insults we'll occasionally discuss cigars.  Join in and perhaps learn something along the way.  Warning: don't proceed if you have thin skin but don't be afraid to post either...  And welcome aboard!

Hello again.  I'm all caught up.  Just my opinion, I prefer the EO21 over the Monte White.  Agree that you shouldn't smoke either of these quickly because they will become bitter.
Hi Tony!  Not familiar with either of them, but am familiar enough with your assessments of cigars so I'll keep my eye out for an EO21 to try.  thanks!
Now's your chance. ;)

Home Remedies
-------------------------

1. If you are choking on an ice cube, don't panic. Simply pour a cup of boiling water down your throat and presto! The blockage will be almost instantly removed.

2. Clumsy? Avoid cutting yourself while slicing vegetables by getting someone else to hold them while you chop away.

3. Avoid arguments with the Mrs. about lifting the toilet seat by simply using the sink.

4. High blood pressure sufferers: simply cut yourself and bleed for a while, thus reducing the pressure in your veins.

5. A mouse trap, placed on top of your alarm clock, will prevent you from rolling over and going back to sleep when you hit the snooze button.

6. If you have a bad cough, take a large dose of laxatives, then you will be afraid to cough.

7. Have a bad toothache? Hit your thumb with a hammer, then you will forget about the toothache.

8. Everyone seems normal until you get to know them.

9. AND..... Sometimes we just need to remember what The Rules of Life really are: You need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape.

10. If you woke up breathing, congratulations! You have another chance!

11. And finally... Be really good to your family and friends. You never know when you are going to need them to empty your bedpan.

I think I'm going to like it once I figure it out.  But at the moment it seems like you have to take allot of extra steps to do the same old things.  And the Apps page is weird.  I installed one of my favorite programs, and now I have 5 or 6 more icons of it on the App page...  I hope I can delete some of them.

Should be a great time, and at least the grilling herf won't have to be in a parking lot this year.
Are we set on that with everybody? Or do these guys still want to grill on the lawn and pee on each other?

Good morning, gentlemen.  Happy Tuesday to yuz.
Morning Tony
Psyched about CF.  Looks like I'll need more burgers this year.  I see you're already making excuses for your game.

Take it back and get something without any Windows 8 version!!!!!!
BD, I've been down that windows 8 road, and it sucks big ones.  Seriously, search on-line for a windows 7 machine.  I think HP still has them.
I've already got the darn think.  I'm going to play with it for awhile and see what happens.

Are you going to have a fresh batch of Bloody Mary's ready upon our arrival?
I'd ask Nate to whip them up, but he'll be too busy getting his beauty sleep.

Hey there, Bret.  Lagavulin 16 on sale at Costco, need to swing by there this afternoon and pick up a bottle.  Never had it but I've had many recommendations for it lately.

Well damn you very much, Joe.  Now I have to go see if it's on sale here.  I like the 16, but then I haven't had any Lagavulin I didn't like.

Oh, and good morning.

Good morning, gentlemen.  Happy Tuesday to yuz.
Morning Tony.
Just read that they're looking at raising my commute cost 10%.  I guess that's only fair because my salary went up... Oh wait.  Great morning to you, LTG.
My cost went up this month, looks like I left my monthly
train pass in the ticket holder on the seat in front of me last night.
cost me another $67.50 so far.   glad today is the 21, not the 1st.
OH and good morning...

$55, seems like a good price.  Can't find it any lower online.  Your sin tax is so damn crazy up there that even if it WAS on sale, it'd still be more expensive than anywhere else.

My BiL is trying to get the cover of a local free magazine.  If you're bored, please vote for Miguel Govea:

You don't need to enter in an email address and you can vote as many times as you'd like.

Even though I'm not bored, I still voted for your cousin.  I have absolutely no idea what that specialty drink of his is.  vieu carre, or something like that?  Sounds like a WWI battlefield.
Looked like a quick way to a hangover. Morning KC, Joe.

Morning Jake!  Oh, and good morning everyone.  Finally getting some much needed rain here.  It figures, since I spent all last week working on the sprinkler system.
How goes it, KC.  On behalf of my deadbeat BiL, I appreciate the vote.

It probably would.  The taxes and surcharges on a $55 fifth are going to be $14.10.  Somehow I'm betting shipping would be a slightly higher.

I live in an excessively beautiful state controlled by a group of astoundingly stupid people.

Wow, that's nuts. At least no traffic, I guess? May as well stick around for a cigar, otherwise it'll be a four hour drive.

Skipped the early morning smoke today and got on the road from Irvine, traffic not bad.  After I finish here, will have dinner at the Sorrento Mesa Karl Strauss, then sneak across Carroll Canyon Road to be at Churchills in 15 minutes.

Cross Sorrento Mesa and down the hill to Carroll Canyon Road, past the driving range, up the hill, around the bend and Past Rough Draft Brewery, make left on Distribution Ave, past Archer Brewery on the right, turn left into parking lot for Churchills.

Only thing I know on Carroll Canyon Road is the Ballast Point location there.  There's another opened up there somewhere that also has a kitchen.  Not sure where other one is, exactly, but I believe it's right around where Churchills is.

Keep Austin Weird - if you ever heard that it is an official City Slogan and the most successful attempt at reality in history.

Went to get a new battery in my watch at lunch and when I returned to the parking lot right here in the middle of Downtown there stood a female, early to mid 20's in age, with nothing on but a pair of black panties.  Then she bent over pulled a dress out of her bag and put it on.  Unfortunately it was a sight I had rather not seen, only the not real Dean might have appreciated it.

So when are we going to have a herf stop at his bar?
My understanding is that the drinks there are expensive.  Let's stick to Somerville.
But what about la familia?  Don't that count for nuttin?
Nope.
They just charge you more.
