Scavenger Hunt
-------------------------
A woman answered her front door and found two little boys holding a list. "Lady," one of them explained, "we're on a scavenger hunt, and we still need three grains of wheat, a pork-chop bone and a piece of used carbon paper to earn a dollar."
"Wow," the woman replied. "Who sent you on such a challenging hunt?"
"Our baby-sitter's boyfriend."

We had one hell of a storm last night about 8:30, golf ball sized hail with 50-60 mph wind and it hailed for a good 15 minutes. Lot of damage around a wide area, about 3 miles from me they had hail twice that size.

A groom waits at the altar with a huge smile on his face. His best man asks, "Why do you look so excited?" The groom replies, "I just had the best blow job I have ever had in my entire life, and I am marrying the wonderful woman who gave it to me." The bride waits at the other end of the aisle with a huge smile on her face. Her maid of honor asks, "Why do you look so excited?" The bride replies, "I just gave the last blow job of my entire life."

About 15 minutes warning on this one, crazy as hell. There was a line of light to moderate storms moving ENE for a while that would have mostly missed us. This small cell broke away from the south end of that line quickly strengthened and moved ESE directly at us at 35-40 mph.

A married couple is lying in bed one night. The wife is curled up, ready to go to sleep, and the husband turns his bed lamp on to read a book. As he's reading, he periodically reaches over to his wife and fondles her special bits. He does this a few times, but only for a very short interval before returning to read his book. The wife gradually becomes more and more aroused and, assuming that her husband is seeking some encouragement before going further, gets up and starts stripping in front of him. The husband is confused and asks, Why are you taking off your clothes? His wife replies, You were rubbing me downtown. I thought it was foreplay. The husband says, No, not at all. His wife asks angrily, Well, what the hell were you doing then? I was just wetting my fingers so I could turn the pages in my book.

Undoubtably had to have destroyed my roof, and every other shingle roof in about a 10 mile wid path. Still dark can't tell much.

Ibet your deductible is like ours down here, they made it now where they almost don't pay much at all to replace you roof.

Good morning Dean and Native.

Never seen this before but it literally stripped all the leaves off the live oak trees. Lots of the mineral aggregate from the roof shingles is on the ground so the roof will undoubtedly have to be replaced.

the deductible for hail damage is different than everything else. It is a % of the home value and will probably amount to about half the roofing cost as I remember from when we bought it. That is the standard in TX because there are so many hail storms. At least there was not a damn tornado!

Definitely belongs in that column, can just about count on it every 5-10 years in any given spot and every 1-3 in any given area of central, west and north Texas.

Then you got hurricanes to add to the con column and unfortunately you got to put crime in the con column too.

Sun is out so I can see and got a ladder to check the roof, chit what a mess it is, most of the mineral aggregate is gone and many shingles with corners broken off that I can see without actually getting onto the roof.
-
Got to get to working now. Later All.

That sounds like fun. No kayaking in my near future. We're heading to my MIL for an early dinner.

Beautiful day here after a night from hell. Still cleaning up leaves and small limbs. 2 hours to get the leaves out of the pool, about a foot deep of leaves on the bottom and plenty more still floating had to be dipped out.

Hey Dave, we got no hail up our way, just 30 minutes of a decent rain. Sorry to hear about your roof, though. Been there, done that. F'n insurance company wouldn't pay, though. Said the roof was "worn out" before the hail beat it to schitt. Bastiges. Don't insure with those f'kers any longer.
