Going to the Doctor
-------------------------

The old man in his mid-eighties struggles to get up from the couch
then starts putting on his coat.

His wife, seeing the unexpected behavior, asks,
"Where are you going?"

He replies, "I'm going to the doctor."

She says, "Why, are you sick?"

He says, "Nope, I'm going to get me some of that Viagra stuff."

Immediately the wife starts working and positioning herself to get
out of her rocker and begins to put on her coat.

He says, "Where the hell are you going"?

She answers, "I'm going to the doctor, too."

He says, "Why, what do you need?"

She says, "If you're going to start using that rusty old thing, I'm
getting a tetanus shot."

We always get a nice return due to the way we file but I officially have more cigars than I have a right to. I attribute a lot of it to here but mainly to knowing NJDave. I was at near full storage and bought 45 cigars in the span of a week, all great stuff but I seriously may have to donate back to the troops almost everything I get from CFest in 2-1/2 weeks

Know what you mean. I had to break down the box of MCII pc's to fit them in controlled environments. Hated taking them out of the nice box, but couldn't make the puzzle fit any other way.

For those that have been, out of the 75-100 smokes ya'll will get at CFest, how many are actually worth keeping? I mean, besides the Bueso's Golf is going to get autographed. ha.

Hey, Scotty. Find any good tax days deals on any of the various internet sites? Although, I think I've already spent the little bit Uncle Sam graciously returned to me last month...

I mean, besides the Bueso's Golf is going to get autographed. ha.
I usually put about 25% in the moochidor.

True story: My uncle the Real Estate tycoon built three nice townhomes on Rockaway Beach, Oregon. After the 2000 election, Al and Tipper rented the biggest of the three for a couple of weeks. Left the place trashed. They didn't get their security deposit back, and my uncle had to spend that and an additional $700 on repairs.

You can search youtube, some guys post the "take" but for me I figure there are about 20-30. I'm a bit different in that I don't smoke to the volume of some here so when I get time to smoke I don't typically experiment unless it's a gift or advised by a botl here. I still have 20-30 cigars from CFest 2 years ago that I'll never smoke.

I'd love to send a bunch to the troops but I have to get to the store for that which isn't easy

They usually do, yeah. Couple of hot girls waiting there in camo to take them from you. Not 100% sure it was there last year, but it was every other year.
Well in that case I'm going to wear them around my belt like ammo and make them grab them one by one

La Duena.  Haven't seen these on a jam in a long time.
I don't get it, 5"x50 Petit Robusto, isn't that just a robusto?

I think this description has been fvcked since the first time they copy/pasted the deal. Pretty sure you actually get the petit, 4.5x52

Anyone else think these paper labels are a pain in the ass to remove. Fvckin gotta tear them off before the glue breaks clean. Minor inconvenience for a good smoke, I suppose.
I'm totally with you, I like the bands removed before I light up generally. Thin bands for example work well, Tat, Intemperence come to mind as they can stay on and not be a factor. Removal is sometimes easy if it breaks loose on it's own but they're tough to tear and nothing worse than damaging the wrapper in the process if it's glued to the cigar. It's a big pet peeve of mine

Hey there, Dave.  Would've been nice to have known he wasn't going to be in today. Not that much of the morning routine would've changed, but this is only side money at this point and I'd rather already be home drinking coffee and smoking a cigar.  Now that's been pushed back at least 45 minutes.

I also usually remove the band right away.  Otherwise I'll forget until the it's burned down too close to it, and it's sometimes a pain to get off without tobacco flaking anywhere, or even damaging the wrapper.

C-Gizzle in the hizzle... now turn that medieval soap opera off and get to dusting!  ;)
LOL! Love the balance of gore and boobs
Car chases, aliens (outer space variety), explosions/mayhem, boobies, gore.  Anything worth watching must have at least two of the preceding.
So "An Inconvenient Truth" is worth watching? It has a boob named Gore in it.

Take 'em with you to C'fest.  They have a big collection bowl there (usually upstairs by the Drew Estate booth).  I usually sort them while I'm getting them and leave them right away.

Hey, Scotty. Find any good tax days deals on any of the various internet sites? Although, I think I've already spent the little bit Uncle Sam graciously returned to me last month...

I mean, besides the Bueso's Golf is going to get autographed. ha.

Take 'em with you to C'fest.  They have a big collection bowl there (usually upstairs by the Drew Estate booth).  I usually sort them while I'm getting them and leave them right away.
I think we've travelled back in time...
Give me a friggin' break, I'm just trying to catch up.   Now GFY!
Can do!

Unfortunately it's a multiple interview process, but it's still nice to see the career change and going back to school starting to pay off. At least they've deemed me worthy of this first interview, haha. We'll see how it goes from here. It's in the downtown, main county office. Get to rub shoulders with the bigwigs everyday, lol. Now I just need to decide if I should settle for head Tax Collector or aim a little higher and go for mayor.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

Running the city. Next question.

Woohoo!!!! Got asked to interview for a full time government gig with the Treasurer and Tax Collector office!!! Heading to the liquor store to celebrate. Feels better if I have a reason to go.

Next step, elected official and my name on everyone's tax bills... suckers.
Tax Collector - Off with his head! ;)  Congrats Joe!!!!!

I know there's a joke in there about height and rubbing shoulders but the kid's on a roll

As there is only one episode this season so far, it shouldn' t take long.
The first 4 were leaked online, so I'll be 3 weeks ahead
Were they in black and white?

Rolled a bit too loosely.  Draw reflects it.  Flavors are interesting but not sure I like it.  I like the toasted marshmallow notes but not crazy about the leather.  The latter makes the finish longer than I like.  The retrohale is smooth but the nicotine is too strong.

Sounds like the perfect side dish to me.
It is killer good.
Finally got Sonic up our way so I can get my tater tot fix with a big ol' Route 44 cherry lime.

Tortuga Reserva Cedro Belicoso clipped.  Gotta step outside to light it.  See yuz.
Rolled a bit too loosely.  Draw reflects it.  Flavors are interesting but not sure I like it.  I like the toasted marshmallow notes but not crazy about the leather.  The latter makes the finish longer than I like.  The retrohale is smooth but the nicotine is too strong.

I'm trying to finish up so I can get out of here and smoke something.
Mikey suggests a cigar.
Actually a nice side of ribs sounds tasty.
So long as we get to eat 'em, and not just smoke 'em.
Damn, ribs do sound mighty fine!
Shut the hell up about the ribs, wouldja?  I've still got two+ hours to work and then a 90 minute commute.

Does sound mighty fine, though.

Mustn't think about it...

We have one down the block but it's been closed for about a month due to a fire.

Got tired of yard working so lit me a cigar.  Famous Nic 3000
Hey TR, FB & I used to smoke the Famous N3K GR.  Which vitola is it and how old?  Was it good?
It's been awhile since I had one ... I got a batch that was absolutely wonderful, then word would get out, they would sell out and the next batch would not be as good, then later, there would be a fantastic run of them.  There seemed to secrecy about the blend and who made them.  Do you know?  Thanks ... would love to have some of that great run.

/// Got to run, maybe check in from RB patio later.  Exciting day today, remembering the day/morning that Lincoln died following his shooting the night before, gyrocopter landing on the U.S. Capitol lawn (USPS carrier delivering letters to all 535 Congresspersons decrying fraud and corruption, requesting campaign finance reform), Washington Capitals beginning their playoff series with the NY Islanders ... and more.  See youse guise later.
