Hungry. I made Saltimbocca Alla Romana last night, but didn't eat much of it. I think I'll raid the leftovers, and see if that helps me get a little more sleep.

Weird start to the day here. Got a message from the school that there were some threats being made and that they were confident in the safety of the school, but the wife kept the kids home anyways. According to the kids who have friends that did go, it was some middle schooler who said some things because they were upset about a breakup. So I'm guessing the actual threat has been nullified.

Also found out yesterday that our trip to Amish country with the in-laws has been changed and now coincides with the CF trip, so that's off. But now that the date has changed, it opens up the weekend that Nate had asked me about going to Indy to watch the Browns against the Colts. Should be fun, meeting up with an old work buddy of ours that moved to St Louis a few years back and will be meeting us there.

I'm known as the master reheater in my house. Any leftovers, I get asked how do we reheat this?

With that said, my daughter eats everything cold right out of the fridge and says we're all wasting our time reheating things.

Morning, all. Happy Dean Day.
Texted with Dean a little this morning. Things got pretty bad and he wound up evacuating. He's fine though just a bit tired from helping neighbors clear stuff out after the storm. His home seems to be on a bit higher ground so he wasn't affected too much. I took this screenshot from a video he sent. Crazy stuff.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20230918/8ff6b00241d192913e76b0128f0be3a7.jpg)

Now it's time for some Brownies and Steelers.
Just finishing up dinner. I almost forgot.

My provider has a "catch up with key plays" feature so I saw the pick 6, the Browns' field-goal, and then I watched Pickett throw the interception live. Luckily, the Browns did nothing with that last one.

This is a crazy game. I can't even keep track of who's got the ball. I think the refs are struggling too.

This game has been an absolute shit show on both sides. And now they won't show the replay of Chubb getting hurt, that's not a good sign for us.

My kids are being so loud I didn't hear what exactly happened to Chubb and why they were not going to show the replay.

Agreed about the shit show.

Apparently, it looked really bad. You could hear when they showed the replay in the stadium and the whole crowd gasped.
