Post by: CigarBanter on March 21, 2015, 12:00:35 AM
Any cigar deals on the various internet sites that are worth talking about? Join in this discussion and perhaps learn something along the way.  Be warned, post on this site and you will catch hell from members and trolls alike.  Therefore, don't proceed if you have thin skin.  If you can accept all that, light a cigar, pour a drink and welcome aboard.

Run your anti virus malware etc. Maybe something is clogging up the plumbing?
I ran the virus / spyware / malware and everything is ok.  Presently, I turned off all of the start up programs, and have been starting them one at a time to see if there's a conflict.  I thought I found the problem last night when I turned off a start up program entitled, "Toshiba Flash Cards."  After I turned it off last night I haven't had one problem.  But this morning after I started the computer, the problem only happened once so far.  I still have about 20 other start up programs to look at, ugh...  But when I get fed up with the computer, I still have my wife to bitch at me... :)

Did you clear away the snow yet, NJDave?  I have not.  Was hoping it would just melt.
Time to try and get a little grass cut, enjoy your day guys.
Grass?  What's that?
Thats the crap I dread every year, almost as much as you guys dread the snow.

True.  It's getting so as it's difficult to tell the difference.  Adam Carolla wrote a book entitled, "In 50 years, we'll all be chicks".  He may be on to something.

What bothers me is, "I've been running Internet Explorer for about 5 years now without any issues, and now it's gone coo-coo...?"  I have been thinking about just trying Google Chrome or FireFox.

It won't cost you a thing.  I recommend Chrome.  By the way, I use them all for testing in performing my day job.

I may give Chrome a try.  In fooling around with Explorer, Windows 7 failed to boot the other day.  I had to set it back to an earlier restore point.  I also ran a program called CCleaner which clears the cashe, and does some other corrections and now I'm worried that may have screwed something up...?

There may be a reason they are fazing out Explorer in Windows 10.
