Mega Millions currently at $940 million for tonight's drawing ($483.5 million for cash option).I've been debating the cash option recently. I calculated that if one could "guarantee" a 10% return over 30 years, than it's worth taking the cash option. I'm guessing a savvy investor would claim she could guarantee even more than 10% but otherwise the annuity might not be such a bad way to go.
With this much money at stake, I would definitely take the lump sum. And that's based solely on my inherent distrust of anything that's gonna hold on to my money for 30 years and give it to me a bit at a time.Mega Millions currently at $940 million for tonight's drawing ($483.5 million for cash option).I've been debating the cash option recently. I don't think either option is too terrible. Cash option for me. That's exactly like what I mean. If that's still around when I retire, I'll consider it a bonus. You mean like social security? With this much money at stake, I would definitely take the lump sum. The major difference, of course, being that I don't have a choice but to contribute to social security, whether it'll still be around in 20 years or not.Right??You mean like social security? With this much money at stake, I would definitely take the lump sum. Sure you are. Look at the longevity genes you have. Plus, it can pay to your estate. You don't have to be living for the whole 30 years.I don't think either option is too terrible. What more does McCarthy have to do to humiliate himself? HIs own party shows it has no respect for him. What else does he have to do? Give them blowjobs on the House floor. I'm sure he would at this point... :-\At least it would be something new to watch. :D

Wordle 566 5/6The word is in my vocabulary, but very rarely used. It's a word I read more than write, and almost never say, and nearly always encounter in second or third person forms. So when I got the middle three letters, all the words I could think of were ruled out by already excluded letters. I finally grabbed a dictionary, and after about ten minutes I had identified four words, one of which I considered extremely unlikely, and one of which I figured was no better than even odds. That left two, and I had two guesses left, so held my breath and went with alphabetical order. As it was, the first guess was correct. Phew.🟨

The Bills player had his breathing tube removed last night, so he's continuing to improve. Good news there. That's really great. I think the whole situation was handled pretty well. Glad Damar is on the road to recovery.
The Bills player had his breathing tube removed last night, so he's continuing to improve. Good news there.Gotta love it. Apparently his first words after the tube was removed were, "Who won the game?"
I wonder who had to break the news to him and fill him in on all the goings on. LolThe Bills player had his breathing tube removed last night, so he's continuing to improve. Good news there.Gotta love it. Apparently his first words after the tube was removed were, "Who won the game?"
