I should have gone with my big gut for this word on my second guess. No complaints though. I can endure a lot of pain anywhere else in my body. But when it comes to pain in my mouth, I'm a certifiable pussy. Holding the damned x-ray target device in my teeth for a suite of images was enough to make me irritable and tired.

The only really good thing about this day is that I'm approved to transfer that agency rockstar I mentioned a week or two back to my team. That almost makes my jaw stop throbbing.That's awesome. Improvement to the team will serve you well.

My dentist uses this rubber thing to keep your mouth wedged open while fixing a cavity, almost like those stopper things you'd use to keep a door propped open. It keeps your mouth open as wide as possible the whole time they're working. Last time they were done with it, I told them it could double as a medieval torture device.
